supershocked Posted October 25, 2013 Share Posted October 25, 2013 Im currently online and for the 1st time entering water online, I died the 1st couple of times even if I slow descented because my character for some reason, is glitched. He basically free falls underwater. So i decided to walk into the ocean near the right side of the map close to the hatch. Here is a few pictures: Thats my friend trying to dive down to me; but no scuba gear on him. I took a picture of him swimming towards my camera but after a few seconds it said that pic wasnt saved either; it would of been the most epic photo of all time. Im currently trying to a pic of the hatch but it keeps saying Social club is not working so its not saving any pics While ive been standing here taking pics and trying to save them, i keep hearing knocking and every few minutes the yellow light dies out and then later comes back again. In the meantime, as i posted this, I will keep trying to take pictures of the hatch and upload them if they are saved. *To those wondering, Yes, i can shoot underwater, walk, access photo and I do not have a "hold breath" bar. Edit: Here's the hatch: Now ill try to take a picture of it with the light out. this happened to me yesterday, I was parachuting into sandy shores sea and when I landed in the water I kept falling and then hit the ground inside the water, later I respawned and I decided to go find the 12k treasure everyone was talking about but couldn't find. cool thing was I could walk under water but now every time I play online I cant swim, I just keep sinking. I have no idea... it wasnt intentional; it all started when i asked my friend in the heli to fly over the ocean so i can parachute into the water and dive down. But on my first couple of tries my character accelerated really fast underwater as if he were flying through the air. I then decided to walk into the water and i didnt even float in the sea, i am just simply walking on the sea floor as if i was on land. I have no idea what could of caused this. this is exactly what happened to me I think the glitch works if you call merry weather pickup and parachute of the heli and land into the sea. you just die at first coz of the impact but when you walk into the water you sink. the glitch I think is permanent coz I reseted but I still walk under water. one good thing, no more players can get me if I want to escape. I went into the water and killed them like that as a bit of payback. its cool, anyone that pisses you off, just walk into water and shoot at them when they chase after you. supershocked Posted October 25, 2013 Share Posted October 25, 2013 I was able to do this as well, I had just joined online and I was in passive mode, I was told to collect my first car but I have not done it, I would just walk into the water and stay there. Health does not diminish as well. its cool I wonder if passive mode has something to do with it? im starting to think its because of the new gta patch 1.04. its messed up the swimming and people start to walk under water. I wonder if sea has something to do with the mount chiliad mystery hidden somewhere. maybe R* implemented this underwater glitch letting player swim under the sea and making the next clue easier to find. K33Perlit_Bai Posted November 10, 2013 Share Posted November 10, 2013 (edited) I didn't want this "glitch' and it has suddenly started happening to me, as well as that, when I ring lester/ron etc I can't hear their voices. Anyone know how to undo this? The underwater one makes it impossible to climb into boats/onto jetty's etc if your in the water. Vagos MC Posted November 10, 2013 Share Posted November 10, 2013 Everyone, try this. 1. Hijack a plane from the airport. It would be better to steal the huge military plane. 2. Fly over Vespucci beach and crash alongside the border of the beach. Make sure the plane is not completely in the water and sinks deep below, and make sure the plane is not completely on the beach surface. Once you have crashed, get down to the beach quickly and jump onto the plane. Wait several minutes and it should completely vanish, you will then be able to walk under the water. If you go to the pier in LS (with the ferris wheel), there is a little section of the pier that has a small staircase leading down to a small section of the pier. If you go down there, you can jump over the railing facing the main pier. You will hit your head on a low hanging support and thusly fall a short distance in to the water. Then you'll be able to walk under water... I was honestly hesitant to share this with anyone because it was my quick get-away from invincible modders, but Im sure the community will make better use of it.
