Then can someone with some computer sense explain this:

 

I lost a character in slot 2.

 

So I re-made (Or overwrote my slot 1)

 

Now if the servers are apparently down, how come the new slot 1 character is there but my lost slot 2 isn't?

 

 

(I never overwrote my slot 2 it has been untouched for a day now)

The Cloud isn't one server, it's a collection of thousands. If the server your original character was on has gone down, then you won't be able to access it. Now you've created a new character, it might be saved on a different server,

Server is for just playing Online

Cloud is for Saving

Not 100 % sure on that.

 

I can play Online right now, but would have to create an new character.
