I try to get on today and my character is gone. How does the cloud work? Great car, especially with all the mods I unlocked doing races, maxed ammo for all my weapons, including sticky bombs. With 90,000 I'm the bank... GONE! I don't care about all the money or the car, or apartment, but playing another 10 hours just to unlock the guns and mods clothes, missions... Well, that sucks. I always try going back to the single-player and then into Online before I log off just to make sure that it has saved. R* not giving us a cup of hot chocolate and rubbing our bellies, telling us everything's gonna be alright. Everywhere I read the same stuff, "It's early on. Give it a couple weeks. let R* work out the kinks". No wtf?? You put $300,000,000 in to a game. Expect to at least double your profit in sales. But you're not prepared for the millions of people wanting to use your product. Ok, I get it. The 1st few days are gonna be hit and miss. This thing is HUGE. But how long do we wait? I finished GTAV in 4 days. I thought it was like a lil self tutorial. Play this. Learn how everything works. Wait 2 weeks for The Real game, We'll be finishing up GTAO so it'll be all set for launch. I'm a big baby. I just wanna play. I guess next time It'll be easier. I've already done 17 levels worth of missions. And my money didn't disappear. Starting back at Zero just stings a lil. Racer__X Posted October 6, 2013 Share Posted October 6, 2013 Don't ever make a new character. If the cloud servers are down, your sh*t wont be saved and you'll be f*cked. You can still play, but your sh*t is not gonna be saved. Your best bet then is to keep your console in online till they're back up. I've had the same character I made the first day and still the same level and money. Now, this is how it's gonna be till rockstar gets around fixing their sh*t.
