That's what I've noticed, the game works fine while daytime for me (Europe), but as soon as it begins to hit around 6 PM (GMT +2/3), sh*t starts to hit the fan, servers don't work no more. It's as if Rockstar disables for Europe and enables for Americans, lol.

Im from Canada and have no problems with americans. But you Euro players lag me to hell and back. Teleporting all over in races and making the traffic all wonkey. Been like that since GTA 4 too.

 

Wish they would have an option to group Euro players and North American players separate.

Only if they did it by language as well as location. You don't know how many times in other games (co-op games, I might add) I've been matched with people from Mexico that only spoke Spanish because they're North American.

Whenever americans finish school/work (around afternoonish for america) the servers literally take a nose dive.

 

For us europeans, in the mornings/most of the day up to around 6-8pm, servers are silky smooth

Probably due to us overloading the servers. Nothing can really be done about that, especially since the servers are still buggy and they're adjusting them.

As much as I hate to say it, I agree.

 

I played with absolutely no issues today from 9am until 3pm UK time.

 

Got into dozens of jobs, levelled from 6-12, generally messed around with people.

 

I am guessing at 3pm here it was 9am or thereabouts in America.

 

It's not there fault, but there are clearly more people trying to get online and that crashes the servers or whatever.

During the day and morning here in the UK its crystal fine no problems at all, night time comes and all hell breaks loose, last night it went off for 5 minutes with cloud servers and same again tonight but for everyone it seems, as long as my guy is fine Im happy though atleast they actually doing maintenance.
