Rank 24 and LOST EVERY THING!

Ok look you guys i connected to rockstars and its shows my char rank 24 but its gonna make me ovewrite it if i click on it and my char avatar is gone

Its funny the people who claim their characters have been deleted seem to not understand how cloud servers work. Im pretty sure most people who claim their character was lost pressed "continue without saving' or the cloud is offline for them.

Dude first of all my you don't know what it means doing a sh*tload of missions in 4 hours and the fact that cloud is working for my and showing my char deleted mean this bug is a major pain in the ass

Be less condescending please because you're wrong. People have lost characters in one slot whilst continually saving progress in another slot and being connected to the cloud. It's happened to me, and nah, I didn't press continue without saving.

you guys didn't lose sh*t... just be patient. you can play on a temp. character but it won't save while the cloud servers are down

So far, I've just lost every dollar (Because there's no "cents" in GTA Online) in my Bank account.

they wiped all ps3 chars bc of exploiters. now that the bug is fixed they want a clean slate. If you were such a high level u probably did something dubious anyway

at certain points in the day the cloud servers are down due to overloading, this being the weekend it will happen more than we are used to, your characters are saved on the cloud server if you cant connect it will show 2 empty slots, if you mess with those slots your characters will be deleted. Cloud servers have been going on and offline for random people threw out this release, people who are being impatient are not waiting for cloud to connect and re writing over there slots. meaning stop screwing with your character slots when you are unable to connect.

Just don't overwrite your character slots.

They certainly did not wipe, and not everyone is lost. I have a friend literally down the block from me playing with his character right now, while mine isn't in the slot nor are his stats or money showing in social club or whatever
