Armored Trucks in GTA Online - Sticky Bombing - How Much Can You Earn?

Blowing open the back doors of the truck destroys some of the money inside. Shooting the back doors open, with a shotgun or rifle for example, nets you more cash. Its also cheaper buying ammo than sticky bombs. I attack one every time I see one. Generally get $5000+ but occasionally get a bit less.

The highest I've seen is 14k. The lowest was an empty truck, though the car behind it got caught in the sticky explosion so I suppose it could have been flung off and I never found the cash bags.

Anyone tried sticky bombing an armored truck yet? If so, how much money can you get.

you can open an armored truck much cheaper with a few shotgun blasts.

Max ive.gotten was 18.7k so 20k shounds like it would be the most one coukd.get from an armored truck.

I was riding my BMX Online and seen the icon for the truck, Killed the driver stuck a sticky on the back

made 10k off it, Then the real fun began, Out running the cops on a BMX, I lost em pretty easy with the bike lol

Lowest payout I got was around 4k. Largest I got was a little over 11k. Totally random as to the amount. Well worth the time to get away from 3 stars. Plus you get rp...

You HAVE TO:

 

1) Use a sticky bomb on the rear doors - a grenade, rpg, or gl, or sticky bomb anywhere else on the truck destroys it and you don't get any $.

 

2) Blow the sticky bomb when no other cars are near the truck. If the explosion blows up an adjacent vehicle the truck is destroyed and you don't get any $.

 

3) You must exit your vehicle to pick up the sacks of cash that fall out.

I've only ever used sticky bombs and have gotten over 11k several times...I don't think this statement is accurate...
