Question considering drops upon death.

Rockstar talked about how you could kill people and steal their wallet. For some reason everyone has only one hundred bucks in their wallet in my game. Why don't they drop atleast like 20% of their cash.

Nope. Me and my friend tried this out. He had 10k on him, I killed him and got 2k.

I've done a car job where you had to steal the car before someone else on freeroam did, Can't recall the name but i won this (don't ask me how, Lots of helies and bullets) but i win and no surprise the guy i stole the car from has me in his aim so of course i died, but the job was worth like something over 10000 yet i only dropped about half that when i was killed, I got killed again before he ran off but in the end i had abouuut 5000 still left on hand.. So either it drops half of whatever you have on you or 1/4 of it.

Does putting your money in the bank really save your money? I have over 10k in the bank and carry about 1-2k on me and everytime I die i lose the usual 100 dollars, but my bank account loses about 800. Is this a bug or is it working the way it's supposed to?

I think they drop all their cash if they have over $5,000. The problem is nobody had 5k cash on them

I believe that the reason you only get 100$ is because most are carrying 500$, so 20 % of 500$ = 100$.

Don't quote me on that though.

Might be more lenient at lower levels, so if you kill them while they have a low level they might keep more than a high lvl guy.

Theres 3 options when you go into your bank account set up.. one to deposit, withdraw and other one transactions.. check the last one to see how your losing your money, It should say likely from medical bills and bailout fees (this one happens if the cops are chasing you before you die).
