Crew Emblems

Sorry if this might be the wrong topic to post in this section but I really need to find out how people created text in their crew emblems. At the socialclub crew emblem editor I can't find the text option but is it true that people use shapes ect. to create text?

Using various shapes seems to be the only way, yeah. Would be great with an option to upload images instead of having to use the horrible emblem "editor".

I used multiple skinny donut circles and soft edged rectangles.

Well that sucks It's just the way I've seen some people create their emblem with text, it looks like they copied it but damn to create it with all that effort.
