jkb1337
I'm seriously pissed. (Spoiler!!! Only read if if you've finished the game. ) When Franklin was pushed to "chose" who to kill I assumed C ( Deathwish ) was the Option that will put him on the line and I somehow hoped, that Trevor and Michael will maybe talk him out of it. I chose Trevor since he was too "rednecky" for my taste. I thought I could spare him and play with every character. Instead I didn't kill him but Michael killed him. I mean what the f*ck I didn't want any of them to die and I thought C would kill Franklin. Why wouldn't they just name the Option kill no one?! I'm seriously f*cking pissed since I only saved in one slot and can't replay the mission at all... Edited October 5, 2013 by jkb1337

Eagleheart
I could see how some people might think the "deathwish" option might get Franklin killed; but honestly after that cut-scene with Devin Weston I knew Frank was tired of being pushed around. Hayze
I'm not a scientists but... If you looked at the Checklist on the Rockstar Social Club you'd see that side missions and everything else that actually count towards 100% are either only able to be done by Franklin or can be done by Franklin. Using that clue you can pretty much figure out that no choice would cause Franklin to die. But again, I'm not a scientist.
YanUK
It's another great example of the player having to absorb themselves in clues that are presented in the whole game. Games are now films and force you into the story more so than the actual playing of the missions. That is why I never skipped a single cut scene. Even watched the 30 min end credits just in case any 'extras' were there.

Corndawg93
You know if you listen to what Devin says in the cut scene, you'd know option C don't mean frank dies Edited October 6, 2013 by billy james
Hayze
You know if you listen to what Devin says in the cut scene, you'd know option C don't mean frank dies I felt that too. It sounded pretty much just like Franklin would get Michael and Trevor and at the very least go after Steve and Devin (which he assumed would be a death wish for Franklin). Stretch and Wei Cheng were a bonus.

Which ones can Franklin not do that count towards 100% According to the Social Club checklist I can't find any unless I just really keep looking over them. It says only the ones with colored bars count towards 100%, and those are all able to be done by Franklin.

Would you and all the liberals cry and call me racist? Trevor IS NOT, I REPEAT, IS NOT a redneck or hillbilly. He is a Canadian homosexual /of story. BlackNoise
I was so glad I saved right before that mission and then I created about five more saves. Then I tried out option C first and then chose whatever the Trevor option was, but that was it, because it actually depressed me. I hated seeing Trevor rolling around and screaming while he burned alive. It was also really awkward once everything was done.

Dr Kain
Lesson of today: always keep multiple save games. Lesson of today? I learned that back in 1997 when memory cards allowed that capability. In fact, it was Castlevania SOTN that taught me that.

GoldenBlade
I can see where you are coming from. I actually searched on the web to see what happens when you choose 'Deathwish'. I thought at first that it meant either kill both Mike and Trevor, or kill Franklin.
