I have been trying, but yet to attract a shark online.

I hope they put them back in, the open ocean is way less exciting without the fear of shark attack. PLEASE can we get them back in... Why would they have removed them for online? Sharks are sharks and they should be in the ocean to scare us...

Does anyone else want them back in too?

On the ocean floor. Sharks are now flooding the sewers..I mean the servers.

Why would we worry about that? I've been playing it since launch with little problems

Seriously...the open ocean is so lame online now... NO fear of having to crash land in the water,or losing your boat.

 

I love the game. But please ADD SHARKS BACK TO ONLINE>

I have to say I am needlessly anxious for them to ad the sharks back into the online map. I am so hopeful that tey will do this that I registered on this forum just to state my dissatisfaction with the lack of Sharks.

 

Having said that. I am incredibly happy with the game engine and all of the amazing efforts te programmer have put into the online world in the last few months. I have certainly noticed the maps getting less buggy and more populated with funky bots and slightly more diverse vehichles.

 

Just like many other player I enjoy GTA5 as the most emmersive free roam world game available. I definately feel that adding the Sharks (Along with other anial sprites.) will increase how real and interactive this simulated world feels in a radical way. It will not just change one aspect of the game, it will change how we play and view the game all together.

 

Also there is a disturbing lack of Sharks in video games in general giving teir extreme innate coolness.

If it's real sharks rather than card sharks you're on about, I can definitely vouch thar definitely not blowing in teh ocean..

 

(my character's lung capacity attests to the amount of time spent in that damn water tbh...)

The open sea in GTAO is already boring. There is no point to explore the ocean because there is nothing in it. No sunken wrecks to salvage, to hidden caches to find, to sharks to hunt, nothing. It's just dead empty water. The same goes for the forests and expanses of wilderness north of the city. It's all empty and dead, save for the chance random battle between two or more players chasing each other in air vehicles or cars.

 

It would be nice to see sharks, mountain lions, deer, coyotes, pigs, cows, boar, dogs, and other animals you see in single player.

 

But, I'm not going to hold my breath...

the more things you put online, the harder the game has to work to render it all (im not very up to speed on the technical jargon, so please understand the point rather than the words used to make it)

 

This is the same reason there are only 16 players per lobby and why there is a cap to the speed limit.

that's why they need to put this sh*ts on ps4 we need to start a petition to rockstar to get this into development so I can play with deer and sharks and sht boyeeeee! Edited by Sushi__Wolf

Im actually glad the wild animals arent there. I hated on RDR when them cougars jumped you from behind if you left the controller to take a piss. Its enough danger as it is with jets and buzzards in the skies and people teleporting over the map.

There are animals in the game and have been since the start.

I remeber trying to get up mount chilliad the hard way and being torn to bits by a cougar or something similar.
