Personally I think they want people to buy cash cards I mean common the missions don't pay sh*t the highest I've seen so far is $10k you'd have to play it 40 times to buy the big apartment and now you can't even do that. Selling cars for money is only available once a day Its quite clear to me GTAO will be far from free! I'd rather pay a membership fee Ie $5-10 a month then be pretty much forced to buy cash cards.

Oh no you can't buy big apartment after ONLINE has barely been out for a week. THE f*ckIN HORROR!!!

 

 

And this is why the cash shop will make a TON of money, because of people with your mindset of ASAP!. I hope that cash shop does sucker in a lot of cash. That just means more support for online.

 

No ones forcing you to do anything btw. Self Control and Patience goes a long way.

If people wouldn't shout to the world about how much money you can make doing it over and over...we would still have the replay function but nooooo...people gotta make 1000 topics about it on the forums so it gets nerfed...

This is why we will never have good payouts in GTA:Online. Gonna have to get used to grinding if you want ten fully-modded cars(Valued at over $200k in mods each, not including the price of the car) in your $400k house garage, guys.

I already gave them $60, why do they want more? The industry is just becoming pay for every little thing. And if you keep literally buying into it they're going to exploit it.

Agree games used to cost $30-$50 and you'd have everything now games cost $60 and you pay for DLC stuff that would have been part of the game a few years ago but now they charge for it. Its not like Rockstar is short of money I hear they sold 13 million copies on launch day that's about $780,000,000 so figuring they spent close to $300,000,000 making the game they had a 260% return on investment all in one day I think they can give us some free stuff I wish I could make investments that made 20% let alone 260%!!!

Yes GTA Online is free but I doubt the Add-on content to come will be. Also I'm an accounting student at UA and for one of my projects I used Rockstar as a example of extremely successful company even in a poor world wide economy so I had all the sales figures anyway,
