Car Sales Topic

Please note; This isn't about players selling cars to other players. This is intended to form a precise and coherent list of cars that can be sold to LS Customs on a daily basis, and how much said car will net you per sale. Also, i'd like to credit numnuts16 for the original thread idea. If you'd prefer to use his thread, you can find it here.

The LS Customs Car Sales Topic Thing!

Car List Complete - Awaiting Price Listing

Current Highest-Value Car - Lampadati Felon GT @ $9500 Per Car

Obviously, we're all still getting to grips with GTA Online, finding new and exciting ways of making a quick dollar. Given you can steal a car and sell it at any Los Santos Customs for a fairly decent paycheck, I feel that it would be a good idea to form a list of what cars and bikes can and cannot be sold, and what the maximum price offered is. Now, obviously some people will say that you just need to get a Patriot because it sells for the most - the downside to that being that there isn't always a Patriot around for you to steal. This, hopefully, will mean that you can steal the most valuable car that's on the road in your game.

I'll be keeping this updated as often as I can, and i'll be stealing cars and trying to sell them as often as I can. But, i'd appreciate any help you can offer in building this list of cars and prices. Check your price against this list, and if we don't have a listing for it, post the price you got for it. Remember that ideally, we want prices for pristine cars - damage brings the price down so ideally you want to get to an LSC as carefully as you can.

Obviously, some of these cars cannot be sold but for argument's sake, they've been included anyway. It probably goes without saying that the entire Super section and most of the Sports Classic section can't be sold, but until we know for sure they've been listed. Certain sections, such as Emergency and ones that include trucks and buses have been overlooked due to the obvious issue of being unable to fit them into an LSC to sell them.

Things To Note - Thanks to Desperado558 and Whikky for a couple of these

- You can't sell any car that is worth over $100,000, even legitimately purchased ones

- You can only sell one car per in-game 24 hours. The LSC you sell to has no effect on pricing or time-limit.

- The classification "Cannot Be Sold" refers only to stolen examples of the vehicle.

Love this idea, I don't have anything to contribute yet, only sold a sh*tty Cavalcade.

How much time (in game) needs to pass before you can drop one off again? Can you spread it out to a different shop every time?

Thanks for the support. I believe it's 24 in-game hours between sales, and as far as i'm aware the shop you take it to has no effect on payout or time-limit.

Yeah I know, it never popped up in the search and it did take me a while to find every car in the game and type their names out, find images etc. Only saw it about five minutes ago.

Semi-related question. How come you can't bring super/sports cars into LS Customs. Says it's "too hot" or something. Does this mean you can't ever put any modifications to the super/sports cars you buy off the Internet in game?

No, it just means that they won't service stolen versions. Ones you buy off the internet should be fine to modify at LS Customs.

@ImpotentRage - Many thanks.

Added image links for all current vehicles on the list, and added all LSC-usable Off-Road vehicles.

All cars will sell for 10% of their purchase price(on the sites online that you can buy them from) if undamaged and unmodded. You can ONLY sell cars valued at below 100,000$ on the websites or they are considered 'too hot'. That is a very easy way of finding out the sell price of many vehicles in game. :)

The problem with that is that several cars aren't available to buy so you're not going to know the purchase price, and as such for some cars working out the 10% is going to be somewhat problematic.

The $100k thing is useful to know though, i'll add that to the OP.

Yep, thats why I had included the 'many vehicles' part :p Figured some of the info could be used. the 100k thing is just what I've noticed so far, there MAY be some exceptions but I have yet to find any.

I'll post it up as a possible, most people are reporting around $5k. Of course, we're assuming there's a formula to all these. It could just be random.

Thanks.

Hey look, someone who can't read. Check the top of the first post, i've credited numnuts as the original thread poster and left a link for those who'd prefer to use the "original" thread. Despite that, I put a fair bit of work into getting a list of every car and an image to go with it, and making it all nice and presentable. If you want, take it to a mod and ask for a thread merge if it means so much.

It may be possible that people are seeing drastic differences in sell prices, that some cars have paint colors that are more epensive and that could be counted in the sell price. Like perhaps once in a while a car has a more expensive paint job so it can sell for more

It's possible, but there'd be no way of knowing for sure.

Also, OP updated with new prices, thanks for the input guys. Added a spot for the highest-value car near the top of the thread, for TL;DR people.
