Are you bored of single player?

After 3 weeks it seems that people are bored of single player already. After years of waiting, now the game is sitting idle on your shelf gathering dust.

Really depends on what you mean, I'd want a option to answer "Sometimes". I love running around in SP some times, and I recently played through the story again, which was highly enjoyable. Nowadays I am playing MP, and really enjoy that.

Yup, its boring as hell now. For me, I've gotten completely bored with it by week two. First GTA I've gotten bored with so easily. The story mode was fun, I admit, but there's nothing to do afterwards. I don't even feel like continuing the side missions, its too boring.

 

The map is huge, but its a whole lot of nothing, not as bad as Just Cause 2, though, but its still pretty empty. Barely any interiors, there's little storage space, only one safehouse, cant buy safehouses, no nightclubs. sh*t I can list a lot of sh*t that this game is lacking. Too much love for the online mode this time around.

 

Police ruin everything to the point where I just don't want to play the game anymore. You can't cruise in peace without getting cops on you. You can't stand on the sidewalk and look at your phone without a retarded AI calling the cops on you, and BAM! 2 stars right off the bat. If I wanted to attract the cops to me, I'd just shoot up a busy street!

 

So as of now, its collecting some good dust, but If they release some new interesting DLC for SP (Haha not happening, only for online), then I'll dust it off and play.

Not even close i got about 30-40 hours invested so far and don't see myself being done beating everything in single player for another month. Then months and months of exploring and dicking around. Only those dumbasses that played the game 48hrs straight and beat it in the first two days are bored with it

I just beat the game 2 days ago, as I wanted to space out the story, and there's sooo much I haven't done yet. I only just customised my first car yesterday!

 

People who are bored with V obviously prefer those big exciting FPS games. You know, those exhilarating games where you do nothing but run around doing the same bloody thing over and over and over and over and......

I'm like.. 48/69 missions through the story, and I'm enjoying myself. Would I say 5 years of effort have gone into the game? Probably not. It's fun, but I almost feel like I'm playing a beta. You're almost forced to stay outside when fighting the police, there are barely any interiors which would have been much more immersive if you could go into a fast food joint or a shopping mall, for instance.

 

That said, there's plenty of things to do, and I'm sure online will keep me busy when I finally decide to play it for any length of time. I'd give the game a 6/10.

Still only 30% and i have no intentions to stop with my free roaming just yet. I do however hope that the single player edition will ultimatly get some dlc to expand the gameplay.

Running around knocking people out NEVER gets old. I literally spent HOURS just roaming around the map looking for people to sneak up on and punch out. I just wish the police weren't alerted so quickly, especially where there are NO people witnessing what I did.

There's quite a bit to do outside of the story mode, but I will say it's not quite as much as I hoped for. People who have the game completely beat either have too much time on their hands or just rushed through it for the sake of getting 100% completion without stopping to enjoy other aspects of the game.

I just got 100% last night and I'm finishing up the stunt jumps, random events, aerial challenges, knife flights, and gold medals on all of the story missions and side missions. So there is still plenty to do even when you "beat" the game. GTA games have always been about car chases and shootouts, so I'll probably stick to that when I get true 100%.

What? i said nothing about your opinion kid. I said you should leave now because you are no longer playing the game. Why stick around for a game you're not playing? Seems stupid to discuss something you are not going to play unless they release dlc

Considering I've had the game since 12.30am on the 17th September & I'm still only at 42%, not at all. I've only done the Vangelico heist & haven't even used the submarine yet. Although I've done plenty of those unique random events & been a naughty boy, by utilizing the infinite money glitch. I've purchased most properties, but half the items in Ammunation are locked (found a parachute, RPG & heavy machine gun in freeroam).

 

Overall, I've probably spent 150+ hours of mostly exploring & messing around. Although I can't wait for those classic supercars to be unlocked on the internet.

hahah that shi*t is so fcking funny... gta always was been in criminal theme, i dont understand why we have so much sh*it in gta V, yeah, criminal underground loves to do triathlons, and hunt animals, and do stuff like in GTA V, every hobby in gta is pointless and will get bored so fast, yes, look at tennis play, it looks so retarded and not developed properly, for me GTA V is for modern kids, thats for sure, ....and everything what is in GTA V was before GTA V ...only story is good and sometimes funny....

not bored...there are a lot of things you can do.

 

however, i am tired of it. not because i've been playing too much. the game just isn't that fun.

 

- police are way too aggressive.

- cars wreck easily.

- no point buying any cars/planes

- properties are expensive with low income

- hard to make money. stocks are useless

 

thats just a few things that bother me.
