Who else would rather blow their cash on a mansion in Vinewood Hills or even Rockford Hills?

 

Or hell, maybe if you are into country living than why not buy a mobile home in a trailer park located throughout Blaine County? lol

 

Shame that the condos aren't available for purchase that are located on the beach with a view of the Pacific Ocean. That would be a cool place to hideout.

I know, if it was Liberty City then maybe it would be ok, but this is California with mansions, trailers, houses etc.. Cockstar just got so lazy with the interiors overall so they chose to do apartments because they just have to design 3 or 4 interiors and copy and paste them for every apartment.

Pretty sure more things will be unlocked as you rank up.

 

Atm most are not even above rank 20. Pretty sure rank goes up to 99. Lamar is level 99 when you first start playing online. Normally NPC's will be max level in online games so you can't just run around killing NPC's,

 

Give it some time, Mansions and such will more than likely cost quite a bit of cash. Somewhere in the millions.

 

I doubt anyone online has gotten that far yet.

There's an achievement for Rank 100, and the minigun unlocks at rank 120. So it goes higher than 99.

 

But has anyone even gotten that high in rank yet?

I'm still holding onto the idea that no one has unlocked them yet.

 

As said, as you rank up, new things become available. Perhaps no one is high enough rank to have made it available yet.

It's not unlockable. There are only apartments available because of technical reasons. They can cram thousands of people inside one building only, because it has no interior. You're just teleported into a representation of your penthouse. It would not work with a mansion since you couldn't go into your yard, garden, unless you teleport yourself outside your mansion. However, buying wood cabins, beach houses and mansions would've been possible in Single Player if only they hadn't f*cked that one up also...
