Is this just a glitch on my end, or did the patch do the clean slate thing I brought up yesterday, because my character and ALL my money is gone.

I mean, I haven't played since like, last night at 1 am. Turned the game off like I usually do, Cloud seemed to be working fine.

 

Now I downloaded the patch, and it's all gone.

Really? Usually I'd expect 4,000 threads if there was an issue like this. Characters not saving to the cloud is common, but money completely vanishing? Not so much.

Should just go back to RDR.

Lol, I've been trying to remain calm and not angry for 2 days.

 

Just give them a little bit more time, If I can, you can too.

 

Trust me, I know first hand how much this sucks. But have hope, Rockstar just has to f*cking organize.

 

I think part of the reason is the >9000 RS offices. I have a feeling they're running in circles because there's so many teams, and they really dont communicate. The need central to just take over, and maybe start calling some favors from other developers under the Take 2 roof. Here's to hoping

I think there is a bug with the patch, Yesterday I had $17,000 in the bank. Load up online after patch and only have $3,000 but at least my character got saved so I can't complain too much.

Seems like that issue still persists. I don't even want to try it after work today or at the weekend. I would have to create a new character anyway, because all previous got deleted. Since day 1 pretty much all the time characters just vanish and no comment from Rockstar on this so far. If they would at least let us know that this is beeing investigated and if we just have to wait or what do do, that would help out a lot. It's just not fun especially since you always have to go trough the buggy first race again. I sure hope this was fixed with the latest patch. Many players still have the 1st race bugs as far as I could see.

Cloud servers might not be working right. That's usually why characters don't show up. Not sure about the money thing, though. I've not heard of people just losing money for no reason.
