First race glitch

Everytime my player walks into the race icon it says 'Waiting for other players', then proceeds to load for ages, but nothing else happens. I've waited for 45 minutes before and still nothing happens. This has happened everyday since Online was released. What can I do?

are other players present on you our screen at the time that you attempt this because for it to work you need people present to enter that circle for it to work at least this is what happened when I first got into GTAO Edited October 4, 2013 by Corrupt King

1. stop creating a new thread.

alternatively you can try create a new character on a different slot, try connect at a later time.

 

i have not patched 2nd patch yet since im at work, but ps3 froze last night trying to connect, switched off by the green button.

switched it back on and played sp a bit, tried to connect, same issue you having now.

 

switched off, did some other stuff and tried again, race loaded and i got in. if its not working, do some other stuff other than trying to play online, theres still a ton of server glitches and congestion. it will take a few weeks for things to calm down.

There are no other players as far as I'm aware. When Online loads up my player automatically walks into the circle icon and there's nothing I can do about it.

 

I've looked raound the forum and can't find a solution hence my thread. Plus I've been waiting and trying other things for three days now, still no change.
