I feel the OP. I'm of the same opinion.

 

Freemode should NOT be a deathmatch.

 

I find that I've been able to find a few like-minded people, and I've stuck with them. Having said that, if anyone wants to game with a mature (I'm 38) games who's more into co-op than spawn-point camping and griefing, please sent me a msg! :)

Yup, as another user put it:

 

"We're supposed to be living a Los Santos life, not be 16 players in a massive-map death match.
Free roam should allow player killing and also allow methods to meet up with others to cooperate or fight, but it should not encourage constant killing through the always visible system IMO"

I'm not a Call of Duty fan boy but I do enjoy playing it, thats why if I want to shoot people I play it and not GTA free roam, but I do wish that there was somewhere in the menu of GTA Online where you could see what each level unlocks. How COD shows perks and when their unlocked. This way we could see what we have to look forward to and what all features the game offers.

Psn - Xilovexuboox I have no mic.

 

I've been murdered dozens of times already going from mission to car, or driving around. Passive mode does not work at all. I kept spawning around the same area and a pack of prepubescent boys would not even give me a chance to move. Kind of makes me not want to play since it seems even if you switch you get lumped with the same type of people. What happened to having fun and not mowing down people just trying to enjoy the game?
