Patch 1.02 won't install/error

Everytime I press install it comes up saying "An error occurred during the download operation (8071040C)

 

How do you fix this?

Try everything from resetting router to turning PS3 on and off, mine froze on first attempt so had to go to the mains to switch off (or back of PS3 if you on a fat one) then it worked after that.

This is different than the freezing error. If the screen stays black when clicking to update then try again but wait 30 seconds or longer before clicking x. This error is seems like the server hosting the update is crashed. The progress will indicate that it is downloading but the estimated time to complete will keep climbing until the error message occurs.
