PS3 is running smoothly for me so far, apart from I havent seen a single guys picture nor my own pop up yet, somethings has definitely changed character wise whether they save has yet to be seen.. Im back to Slot 1 but my character from last night has gone from Slot 2, now time to see if 2.0 fixes saving and the Cloud screwups..

Should it? Ok so it hasn't worked the way it should have so far but once it is working properly it will be fine, just have a little patience.

Ehm, not on a console since it can't read hacking material files. That's why there are no aimbots and stuff on console, consoles can't read exe files like windows.

Yeah, MODDED Controllers with rapid fire not HACKERS. Look it up yourself there are no aimbots and I haven't met one in my whole console playing lifetime.

Spend 5 minutes with google and you'll find downloadable xex to mod your game while playing, and upload the modded file to the server. RGH consoles. At this point, cloud idea was pointless. Just change the saves to local storage and call it a day RS :/

Well I'm not trolling but you might be right. I just got it from an article could be bullsh*t though, who knows. Haven't met any hackers so far though so they are very very rare then.

On the other hand if they could mod it their should be some kind off software that tracks it and xbox players that mod it will get their consoles banned and have to spent another 200 bucks on an console and GTA 5.

 

PS3 however just bans your account.... Sadly, hackers are disgusting.

Usually this is the process. However on PS3, you can appearently "reset" your ban on a hacked console.

 

On xbox, you just have to create a new GT and pay for the subscription. So it doesnt even slow them down.

 

Many of the people who write the hacked files get live accounts donated to them for testing.

This definitely shines the spotlight on the problems of cloud gaming. If a remote server in Whereeverthef*ck, USA/UK/AUS/GER goes down, you're pretty much f*cked waiting on someone else to fix your problem. And most don't have incentive to do so, so it might take weeks before anyone gives a f*ck.

IDK what you mean, most modding bans on 360 are CONSOLE BANS. Means you can never connect to XBL again on that console.

Actually it depends on the modification done. They really only console ban for hardware modification, like JTAG, or drive flashing. Especially for piracy.

 

Not only that, there's workarounds to get back online after a ban, you can replace the keyvaults. Seems like common practice for online stats modding is use an RGH console to modify the stats, then switch to a OEM console for playing with the hacked stats.
