Can't join a friends session, nor can he join me

Hello everyone,

 

i tried to connect to a friends session so we can get some stores robbed, but it doesnt work. He cant join me either. I tried join crew member aswell but it wont work.

 

Maybe I should say my character vanished and i started a new one, now im always the only person in my session, plus i have stuff finished (like races) i did with another character.

 

Anyone else having these problems? Ideas how to fix this?

Same problems. Can't join friends, but I sometimes play with random strangers. Although 70% of the time, I'm pretty much all alone

I've been wondering if it was just me. Same issue here. PS3 or xbox?

You must complete the tutorial missions up until it tells you to do the Last Man Standing mission and you get a note in the top left tell you that you can now look for missions throughout the city. After that you will be placed in an post tutorial open world server and can join others who have finished it.

 

If you have already done that, then I'm not sure what your issue is.

yes, I've already done it. I was playing with a buddy yesterday, after the update, cant play with anyone

Yeah im on PS3 aswell. And yeah i finished all Tutorial Missions, even had the call from simeon about my garage. Playing for about an hour now and havent seen any other player.
