Will the new patch for Xbox fix cloud servers?

Hello guys :)

I am not sure if I am the only one but since the online launch my cloud servers have been down the entire time. I can play perfectly online but nothing saves because my cloud servers are down.

I was just wondering will the new patch for Xbox turn them on? I am getting extremely frustrated continuing without saving even though the online is actually amazing.

when your done playing online, did you go back to single player and click save thru the cell phone?

No sir. I usually just switch to single-player and get a message saying "Progress will automatically be saved" Then when I choose the bottom character on the wheel to switch to online it usually tells me "Character 1 has been corrupted" with options to replace or overwrite. :/

 

I feel like I am the only one with this problem.

I don't think selecting down on the character wheel works at the moment. It always freezes at a black screen for me. Try going online thru the pause menu.

At this point, I'm betting odds that the Xbox patch will be delayed since there was so many problems AFTER the patch on PS3. Prepare to wait another day or two for xbox 360 patch.

I have been really patient... I am going to lose my mind if I have to wait more than a day... All I want to do is save my character and play :/

Here is what I always do and its been fine, the only time I actually lose my character is when you lot report it which is at night in the UK where I am, during the day its smooth and has been even smoother today with this 2.0 Update. My method is

  • Pause
  • Online
  • Leave GTA Online

Then just quit the game or something, I have turned off the PS3 and came back on just over an hour ago and prior to 2.0 it has saved. Keep in mind it did this last night also, fine in the day and saves but at night the whole thing screws up and my character goes down the drain again, Im back on Slot 1 from now on Slot 2 is my highest guy so far if he ever returns.

 

You Xbox guys need to wait for the update, I haven't had a single error today prior to 2.0, whether this is just luck or something has yet to be seen.

Hmmm, In all honesty I have tried all this stuff and I just don't have a character when I come back.

It seems like I am the ONLY person that has this cloud error since launch...

 

I have this feeling something is wrong with my game copy/xbox or something from my end perhaps.
