So, about Bad Sport...

What the actual f*ck? Has anyone else gotten Bad Sport yet? You get your appearance items taken away and are forced to wear a dunce hat, and you can't play with anyone else. I was attacked by a crew using their cars, so I threw sticky bombs at them, why the f*ck does the game punish you for defending yourself? What did Rockstar want me to do, charge at a bunch of people with a f*cking gun and lose money each time I die? Why the hell does it even allow you to blow up player vehicles if rockstar doesn't want you to? For defending myself I'm now locked from playing with my friends for 2 days, and I can't find a server with anyone in it. Anyone else think this is bullsh*t?

Edit: Wow, and you can't even make a new character to get around it. This is such bullsh*t.

i think it is bullsh*t if you back out of a game lobby and they said you got bad sport for that. uh.. i wasnt in the game.. just in the lobby! as for your situation, i mistakenly took someones car and they chased me down with a bike and killed me. i dont think i got bad sport.. maybe you shouldnt consider not being a dick and stealing other cars purposely..

I didn't steal anyone's car, I blew them up while they were attacking me. I wasn't being a dick, I was trying not to lose money from assholes that were just out to kill me.

What happened to the good old vote kicking feature where if the majority agrees then the person is kicked? You can also switch sessions if the majority disagree with your vote kick so why was this Bad Sport thing even necessary?

I think the bad sport is f*cking stupid. When someone is chasing after you in their car shooting at you and you sticky mine them you get bad sport.

I didn't do it once, They kept coming at me so I kept blowing them to hell. Actually got chain explosions a few times that killed the majority of them. I can only assume they were having their vehicles delivered because I got the warning almost every time I blew one of them up..

I don`t like griefers. It`s perfectly ok for you to kill me once, twice, thrice.

 

It`s not perfectly ok to camp my corpse or spawn kill me, or stalk me and interfere with everything I do.

 

You might not agree with my ideas of fun and fairness. You don`t have to. That is why I like bad sport - it keeps you away from me, or I hope it will. I have the same right to play the game as I want just as you have. And it doesn`t automatically make me a bad player if I choose not to act like an ADHD moron.

The dunce hat thing sounds hilarious and i'm glad to hear it exists, but they do need to fix the way "Bad sport" works. It's strange how you are a bad sport when you destroy their car but when you kill them personally it's all good.

I was hiding in an alley to try and get away from cops, I was watching the mini map to make sure I wasn't in the cops cone, and I could see, at least, 3 other players making their way to my location, I assume, to kill me. As I pulled out of the alley they were behind me in cars, shooting at me. What for? What's the point?

 

They fixed online play so we can get into the game, but the community will ruin it forever. Bunch of c**ts.

Yeah, I once got a bad sport because the thing crashed after a game of tennis! I was getting my ass kicked and played til the end and it crashed (some cloud error, i think) and got a bad sport

Only got 1 notice for bad sport that was day 2 when my lobby froze out when it was launching a session.

 

Since then I've had 2 good sport rewards.

 

Can't see how you would have run into that trouble unless you have had multiple accounts of "bad actions".

Getting punished for doing something like that in a game like grand theft auto is like getting punished for scoring a goal in fifa. Fair enough if they want to punish people who leave early, team kill in team based missions, etc but punishing people for killing others in free mode is stupid as f*ck

I got a bad sport warning last night for chasing a guy down and shooting his car which caused it to blow up.

 

I'd done a mission with him and it was fine but then a cutscene triggered and when it finished, I found the guy running me over with my own car. I respawned and killed him to get my car back but then shortly after he came back with a buddy and smgs and killed me three times in a row then stole my car, drove it half way across the map then dumped it in the ocean. And I didn't have enough money at the time to get it back.

 

So I made it my mission to hound them for the next hour and I blew up his car and I'm glad. If that makes me a bad sport, so be it.

 

The whole thing is a joke. Like murdering people left, right and centre just for the fun of it? No problem. Wreck someone's car or leave one of the buggy game lobbies / matches? BAD SPORT!!!!!!!!

The big question is can you become a good sport after being labeled a bad sport? If so who cares about it, at least you can redeem yourself if it happens from defending yourself.

Seems like bad sport is only triggered by leaving missions and other activities early or destroying someone's personal car they have insurance on... Meanwhile good sport is for people who don't quit early so technically you should be fine if you put bullets in them instead of blowing up their cars..

ive always been getting the paychecks for being a good sport.. but blowing up other peoples vehicles shouldnt give you bad sport... i mean you already have to pay for their insurance (can be over 9-10k on expensive modded cars)...

I got bad sport and i'm proud of it.

 

I blow peoples cars up, kill them randomly, wait outside shops, barbers and blast them as soon as they come out, blast someone who has robbed a store, trap people in buildings, spawn kill and much more.

 

It's incredible the sound of a little bitch crying because i pissed him off. I don't give a f*ck about bad sport and i will not change the way i play because of it.

 

My next plan is to start joining crews an then f*cking them over and moving on to the next one.

yes but look at the bright side we know what triggers it I can confirm that I have been killed a lot and have killed back and have yet to receive a warning because I didn't cross that insurance line and geting kicked triggers bad sport
