Ever since 1.02 Update

Ever since the 1.02 update, my online takes a lot longer to load/connect. It also kicks me out of games saying the players kicked me. This only started to happen after 1.02. Earlier today I was playing with 1.01 (or whatever it was) and I was aware of the 1.02 update, I didn't bother installing it since it was working great. Now I turned on my ps3, and the update was mandatory. As I said the update is causing me troubles.

PLEASE HELP? Also, is there anyway that I can get rid of the update?

Same way people got rid of the 1.01 update. Delete it through your data (Game data Utility). Not sure if it'll make you download it again though.

Would it make me lose any progress I've had since downloading it?
