Can't hear other players

Is anyone else finding this? I have voice set to play through my headset and the volume at max. Yet I haven't hear a single thing yet. Surely it can't be that everyone I've been in sessions with is shy. Party chat works fine.

Anyone help?

Have you set Chat to No One maybe?

Hold down Select (PS3), go to Chat and then pick either Everyone, Crew only, Friends only, Crew and Friends etc

I thought the voice audio worked by how close you were like arma 2, have you tried being next to a player an call them a twat? Might provoke a response

People are reporting voice chat to be session wide.. kinda dumb but hey... I am yet to login :) . Voice is the least of my problems right now.

WHERE IS THE f*ckING MUTE BUTTON. It's honestly ruining my experience at the moment. Every f*cking lobby I join has at least half the players screaming down the mic. Some of them are definitely less than 10 years old.

Preferences > Voice > put voice volume to 0. I think :colgate:

You can also mute people in the game by pressing start -> select online tab -> select players section

I can't hear anyone either and they can't hear me. I have everything open. Privacy setting is to everyone and and my chat is to everyone. I can't even hear my friends, only when I'm in a party I can hear them.

I always go party chat. Just use your horn, do donuts to let players know your friendly. If he's cool then just add him to your chat. Xbox 360

Just wanted to be sure about something; I'm guessing you need a mic to call someone, right? As I don't currently have one, and that would explain why the option to call any of my friends doesn't even pop up - just 'view profile'. I'm asking as I just need to tick off "Call a Friend in GTA Online or Grand Theft Auto V" in the 'Progress' section.

Please don't bump a two year old topic in order to ask a faintly related question.

If you need help, post in the Help and Support forum.

Thanks
