Kent_Paul_Jnr Posted October 4, 2013 Share Posted October 4, 2013 Remember When R* Made Amazing DLC This is a quick post that kind of reminces about when R* helped change the face of DLC, when episodes from LC came out, all the DLC on consoles were crappy map packs - R* changed this with their offering - it cost a lot more than most DLC at the time but what they did with the DLC content was amazing, allowing you to view the city from a fresh set of eyes, TWICE. With new vehicles, weapons and places to visit in the city it was amazing. I hope they do something similar but new and improved with GTA V, the city is large enough and taking assets from MP would shorten dev time. I would love to explore LS as another Biker gang or other character/s that R* chooses... I hope that GTAO is not the death of GTA SP as we know it. If R* can flush out GTAO as much as those episode packs then I will agree IMO then GTAO was a good move but it needs to be more indepth than the crap we have seen so far, and please no individual vehicles or bikes as that will be the nail in the coffin for a lot of us gamers who didnt grow up playing games with PTW or paying for ammo tuff_luv_capo 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

When they can withhold features and content and slowly add it in and make ALOT more profit. Microtransactions are the same concept being used in Phone Games. FREE FREE FREE It only appears to be free because its a trick of the hand. In one hand theyve got content meant to distract you from the fact that in the other hand theyve got Casinos for gambling. And the only way to feed that gambling habit will be to either grind for hours on end....Or buy money with real world money. The Casino will have 'prizes' with slightly improved stats that wont be outrageously superior or OP but players will want them for the slight advantage even if it seems miniscule. Or the customization options, different weapons you cant get anywhere else and so forth. The Casino, The Cash Cards you can buy with real world money will fund that 'FREE. FREE FREE FREE' content. Any game with paying aspects has to include "grinding" to make the purchases with real money have any value Lets hope PC can get their hands on this game - but modding on PC R* can't charge, ie changing a guns texture even though the game natively supports it via the games engine, so I wonder what that means for a PC release : ( DRM on a GTA game - imagine that Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
