Frist off if you are voting im sorry I messed up the question,

 

YES is for at least level 5 to access all the accessories (not the upgrades)

NO is keep it the way it is with the level caps, and requirements.

Okay its early in the morning so I apologize if my grammar isn't 100%. (not saying it will be terrible either)

 

Anyways There are plenty of threads about the Blips on the Radar, the Medical Bills on mission/TDMs being expensive etc.., but I wasn't able to find anything about the car customization.

 

The thing the I feel that needs to be changed is having to be a certain rank, or win/play a certain amount of races, tdms etc.. in order to customize your vehicle however you want it to look like.

 

I'm not talking about the upgrades such as explosives, armor, turbo, etc.. I'm talking about the accessories. Why would I not be allowed to make my car however the hell I want it to look like if I have the cash for it??

there are multiple cars that I would love to have in my garage and insured but why would I have a slow plain looking buccaneer, or Dubsta when I can just have a fast decent/fancy looking car that goes faster?

 

I was really looking forward to seeing people's unique vehicles and also being able to show my car off but to be honest Im not going to wait until level 99 for my limo tinted windows.

 

I for one haven't been much of a TDM, racing kind of guy (I play some every now and then) but im more about the free roam, so having people race 30 times or win 60 races who don't necessarily enjoy that part of the game is a bit unfair imo.

 

I know too a lot of people this probably is a retarded thing to post about or in others words they don't give two sh*ts but to me the customization was a big part of the game that I was looking forward to, is there anyone else who feels the same way as I do about the customization? and once again im not asking to have things cost cheaper, or have upgrades that allow your vehicle to perform better but I am asking to allow accessories to be unlocked at least at level 5 if no cap at all.

It's reward for leveling up so that you can perform and look superior to new players. you think a level 5 should be able to have the same look on their car as a level 100? Should level 5s get the gold and platinum guns too just because they look cool but don't give any advantage? I think it's a great system and it gives you more to look forward to and makes the process of leveling more enjoyable.

I kind of understand the whole upgrade part of having a certain rank and all that but having to complete a certain amount of races to unlock something is kind of a let down since like I mentioned above some people just aren't into races, or any of that stuff.

 

I just cant believe I have to be level 50 (exaggerated) to have whine red unlocked as a color, or level 99 for limo tinted windows its just odd and kills the whole free mode portion of customizing your vehicle, to be honest I don't care about my car at all considering I cant make it look nice or any different than other cars that are just like it.

I agree it does make leveling up a bit more enjoyable which is why I said I agree with the upgrades, but why would anyone not be able to customize their vehicle however they wanted? if they have the money to do so then why not? as you mentioned about the guns it doesn't give any advantage but the difference is that having people get a certain amount of kills, headshots etc with guns make sense because it shows "your skill" with that weapon which is why its great to have that but as for cars you are forced to "own" a car from the start so why not be allowed to get it customized (not upgraded) the way you want it to look like if you have the cash? with guns people can choose not to use a certain gun if they don't want the color/skin.

 

I may get 208k to buy the 10 car garage apartment but what good does that even do me if I wont even want to have any cars simply due to the fact that everything is locked? the leader of my crew has an apartment and garage so I kind of see no point in purchasing anything if I can store my sexy babies in the garage/

That's what I was trying to explain. It's fun (and very rewarding to the dedicated players) to have visual reminders of who the higher level players are. If you see someone riding in a fully modded supercar you know they are a veteran and not just some 12 year old that bought in game cash card with his moms real life credit card to splurge on cars and mods at level 5. I don't see why this is a bad thing. I was happy when I found out I couldn't just take in a sports car my first time to get the free tracker. Working your way up... it's part of the game and I personally really like it.

I can see why you enjoy it which is why I do agree with the upgrades , but I guess you can say it bothers me because I love cars, love customizing them in games, etc.. my life is about cars so having the option of making my ride look sexy/beast with enough funds (since its already overpriced) kind of was R*'s way of giving me 1 million bucks in RL but then knocking me out to find out that I was brutally raped in the ass for it.. if that makes sense.

tl;dr but I'm sure I didn't miss much. It's easy to level up, the high the level the better the perks. And one of the better perks as a high level is faster good looking cars.

but you kind of missed the point I understand upgrades having level caps, but don't understand accessories at all, I don't want to be stuck with a stock car until I reach level 50 just to unlock every piece I want, to be honest I probably wont even play that long since the free roam isn't that entertaining but that's another story.

im with you on that one, I know I can boost but I rather just chill in free roam since that's what I enjoy about the game the most. I honestly dislike races, I can imagine it being full of exotic/fast car while im trying to win 18 races with a sandking -.-. I don't enjoy racing at all

I don't mind the level restrictions but the race winning restrictions I would rather not have, purely from a selfish pov as I am useless at racing as my reactions are not as quick as they used to be 30 years ago... lol
