Rank 100 not the highest rank

I had thought that 100 was the highest rank, just because of the trophy list, but the minigun in Ammu-nation doesn't unlock until level 120. Has anyone heard any info on what the level cap is currently?

I think it is level 120. It makes sense for the most powerful weapon in the game to be the final unlock if you ask me.

I just think they set the minigun at 120 to stop people getting it... Would be a bit OP

Correct. It is likely capped at 100 right now. It will be added levels later, through expansion. Most likely. This is common. CoD added prestiges lately once most of the community capped on those. MMO's tend to add end game leveling either on top of 80 (like 80:1, 80:2 etc). GTA is likely going to have endgame progression for those who reach it as well.

When you go on Rockstar's site to create a crew, the max level you can set a rank for is 100.

 

Leads me to believe the max is either 100 as of now, or you stop earning rank titles at that level.

Or just hacked.

 

I'm nearing the 30s and it's getting increasingly harder to rank up without being tempted to skip eating food and going to the gym.
