New patch is worthless, character is still gone.

Wtf was the point of the patch might I ask ? My character is still deleted, I have the money, but that's all. Wasted 8 f*cking hours. How do I know it's not going to delete again ? Balls.

How many temp characters did you make before you decided to read and think what if it glitches stuck...

They didn't say once this patch was supposed to restore characters.. Was primarily to get the other half who still are unable to play online.

 

Oh, and tbh, I waisted more then 8 hours in the last 3-4 days trying to get ONE glimpse of the tutorial mission.. If possible I would like to trade, atleast you could play

Wish people could use their heads. The patch wasn't to restore your character that you made knowing that servers were being destroyed (dejavu, huh?)

 

It was to help people even get onto the game and past the first race, or online at all. Stop being so narrow minded. If 8 hours was wasted to level up someone on broken servers, imagine what you can do with 8 hours on decent servers or dare I say, good servers now? :D

The focus of the patch was to allow people to actually play the f*cking game, not to restore your precious character. Some people haven't even got past the first race...

Make a new character and move on asshole.

Err, maybe because that wasn't what the patch was for? Maybe it was for the millions who can't get past the first race marker?

Forget about your sh*t character you made, it's long gone. Get over it, or should mommy get you a nice glass of milk for the poor baby?

LMAO at every prick here calling me an asshole. Sure. I might be. But that's not the point. I sent R* an email saying my char got deleted and they said a patch would be released. So it has. The char is still gone. Question is, is the server stable now ?

They responded to tickets inquiring about 'deleted' characters with mention of this patch saying it should fix the known issues... Seeing as how Rockstar has yet to acknowledge this issue I guess they were just copy and pasting, well I figured that prior, but copy and pasting in reply to issues the patch had actually nothing to do with.

I agree it sucks for you you lost your character.. But getting everybody online was more important I guess.

By the answer you got I hope they meant characters made after the patch would be saved.

Seems they failed at that as well though, at least for many, so in reality the title of this thread is not too far off base.
