am i the only one who doesn't pay hospital bill when i die in missions/deathmatches/all that stuff? I only pay a hospital bill if i die in free roam...i think so anyways...im pretty damn sure.

Lucky. Maybe a bug then for the people getting raped with bills?

Also sent an e-mail. This $2000 every time you die is making me hate online

Maybe don't die? I plan to just do missions, not go about buying ammo and trying to Kill All On Sight

I don't try to kill anyone infact i stay away from that sh*t. you can die in many different ways. Have you played the game? if not you will see what I mean. One example.. Die in a mission lose $2000 Finish the mission get $1000 Awesome logic.

Ride a bike into something you die

Fly out your car window you die

have fun driving over hills in a car... o wait then die.

Heaps of ways buddy.

Why should I have to watch what I do? I like smashing up cars and driving into sh*t.

Yep. I do the exact same thing, oddly I just don't die often. I recently took an Infernus all over Online. I explored the roofs of houses in the high mountains, jumped in mountains, got into a car chase with like 15+ cops, I was on and off roading hard core. Then I turned an SUV into a dune buggy and did loopty loops into subway around subway trains

Oh sorry my GTA lord

Hey, no, get it right. Porn Queen.

Meh you wish

Hey you were about to call me GTA Lord hehe

Does everything have to be so easy a toddler can do it nowadays? Anytime there is a challenging aspect to a game everyone shuns it and complains about it, do what people who played video games used to do to avoid bad situations/annoyances, get good.

You cant just say "get good" and expect that to be okay! No matter how good you are you ar going to die a fair amount, especially if you are messing about in free-roam. Why should we be punished for having fun???

I have tons of fun and die in free roam all the time, I just don't worry about it as much as everyone else seems to. I can die about 5 times in a row and play two street races to get the money back, not a big deal.

Hi Guys, I sent a mail to Rock* as per the below. I understand that it is my personal opinion and that not everyone will agree with my sentiments. However would be good to know who shares my views and who doesnt. Mail below:

"So congrats on producing a phenomenal piece of media, it’s an absolute masterpiece with regards to the single player and the work you have put in is testament to the quality. It was great to have the all the cool things back in this iteration, all the things that made San Andreas so much fun.

So to start off I have been one of the luckier ones when it comes to online, I haven’t had many issues and have been able to play from day one. I’m not hugely frustrated by the technical issues at the moment, I expected them and you expected them. In a month from now all will be well in the world of GTA online, the issues but a distant memory and people will be having fun playing. While I understand that your current priorities are to solve the technical issues I believe there are some gameplay mechanics that will have far reaching effects on your player base and I would like to detail these issues below and offer possible solutions.

· Hospital Fees – Far too expensive and as is the nature of GTA death is commonplace. This is really detracting from letting loose and having a bit of fun, the fact that you also incur these costs on missions, in death matches and races is just a kick in the face to be completely frank. Having gang fights in free-roam with a bunch of mates against another group of players is absolutely thrilling and just downright good fun, that is until you realise you just lost 50% of your money - It’s heart-breaking stuff J

My Solution/s:

1. Do away with hospital fees altogether.

2. Like insurance on your car maybe we could take out health insurance for say 1000 and this would cover us for say 10 deaths (once you have died 10 times you need to purchase health insurance again, if you don’t you get charged the high per death fees again)

· Player Blips in Free-Roam: - I was really hoping you wouldn’t be able to see where other players are on the map but alas you can….all the time J. Now I understand there is a perk from Lester that will hide your blip (don’t know all the details but that’s pretty neat, it does however makes it easy for higher level griefers to grief lower players without the perk). I think at the very least we should have an option on whether or not we want player blips in free-roam. Without blips it would just be so much more thrilling and natural when you spot another player (just have a player name above their head when you are in range), it would just make for much more dynamic gameplay, it would be great to tail another player without him knowing – Stealth is fun J Not to mention it would almost eliminate griefing.

My Idea’s to enhance the no blip in free-roam:

I am aware that taking blips off the map ins free-roam will have knock-on effects on gameplay elements like bounties and Lester’s blip perk will be irrelevant so let me address those:

For bounties you can use your phone and see the other players in the free-roam session, if a player has a bounty then that contact can just be highlighted in red.

Now for the Lester perk in a free-roam session without player blips – Instead of his perk making your blip invisible how about using his ability to make another player visible. This perk shouldn’t be too cheap and the highlighted player should only be visible for say 10 minutes so you have enough of a window to smoke em without being able to grief him constantly for the next hour. To avoid wealthy players spamming this perk you should only be able to use it say 3 times a day.

I genuinely believe that if the above issues are addressed it would make for a much better open-world experience and if the forums are anything to go by so would the majority of your player base"

I vote no on the no blip free roam. You can a. make a private room or b. put on passive mode. Getting rid of blips would completely ruin this game. Sorry to say dumb i dea but terrible idea

.

I really don't think it will be hard to find players without blips, they will be booting around the place in cars, police chases, explosions - they will be hard to miss IMO. Anyway, as I said its a personal preference which some other people actually agree with and would prefer, you prefer the blips and thats all good....doesnt make it a terrible idea though just because you dont like it.

I take it you did not play gta iv online? It had the option to remove blips. And when you did you could never find anyone. It was stupid. Plus that was just in free roam. you can do missions.

My issue isn't with Online not working, i expected the first few days to be clogged with everyone trying to get on, but it seems the real problem is online in it of itself with a laundry list of glitches and problems its causing.

My fear is by the time everything gets going, people will have quit out of fustration.

Nope I didn't play GTA iv online. Look its just my preference, I don't mind messing about in free-roam and only coming across players once in awhile and have a perk from Lester that reveals a player of your choice. But I understand how others will not love that. I'm only asking for the option to do so and not for it to be the only way.

I will reply for him as I have idea why he and most of us have that assumption. Whilst you might be a decent, respectful youngster both offline and online that is not the case for most teenagers. As a generalization (a rather fair generalization) teenagers online are rather crass, disrespectful and basically full of sh*t. ( i know I was a teenager once). This is because the real world has not hit them just yet, trust me and because at the ripe age of 16 they think they know everything - but that couldnt be farther from the true!

Why get rid of the hospital fee and the blips?

People losing more money = more people buying GTAV money.

A note for everyone. If you want to reduce you hospital bills, spend your money. Buy guns upgrades, ammo and garages, when the stock market launches invest a large portion of your money. If you have nothing in the bank the fees will be next to nothing.

Assuming the updates released today fix the losing progress issues such as apartments/garages disappearing you should be safe to invest everything you have now.

Stupid mothers in this generation buy their little kids these games and when they see a murder or a car crash they blame the game creatoes because "Hell no it isn't my fault"

I keep saying it, and I'll keep on..

I think the best system for the blips on radar in Freeroam would be to have no one visible on the map unless:

a) They are in your Crew

b) They are on your friends list

c) They are in your party

d) They have a bounty on them, in which case their red blip stays until they die

With the blip system above in place, there's no need to have to call Lester to find anyone (as OP suggested) as friends/crew/party members/bounties are marked. I can't imagine another reason you'd need to find someone. You can find the people you'd want to find and everyone else is unmarked.

Another BIG plus for a system like this would be asshats wouldn't be able to find random people to grief just by looking at their map. It'd be too hard finding people to even bother (unless they want to grief their friends?)

:/ MFW people are spamming rockstars email inbox with this bullsh*t instead of letting them fix the game first.

Maybe we should let everyone play before we dumb down the whole game experience, eh?

haha how would no blips ruin the game? Because you and others wouldn't be able to find players to go and shoot just for the supposed fun of it?

I think they should have options where there are full blips, no blips or only blips when others are within say a half mile radius. I also agree with others saying blips should always be shown of your crew members and maybe also your friends.

It's lame that you can see everyone on the map and can go and annoy someone just to be a jerk.
