The point is to make it possible for people to be able to even play online. People couldnt get past the first mission and do anything, that was the main fix.

so they are busy fixing that for player and rank to come back on for those people

I got a new update and my player and rank is still gone!! I didn't see the point of the new patch!!

 

If you weren't selfish, you'd see that the update was to help people get online as a lot of people who were up at 6:30-7 AM EST have been trying to get online for the last 3 days. It wasn't a duty to restore your character that you willingly made knowing the servers were destroyed.

The problem your having is not the only problem if you may think...

There's still loads of people unable to play.

Getting your char back will prob not happen, or after everybody is able to get online and when they fixed their cloud issue..

You shouldn't have made this the title of your thread seeing as it's misleading. A lot of people are looking for a glimmer of hope of just playing this game along, and you're talking about how the patch doesn't work because your character isn't restored. Sorry that common sense is hard.
