This is how most of you sound, a few thing to consider before you declare r* the worst company ever, or start disrespecting their eployes. "R* should have been prepared" In short they were, they knew what was gonna happen, evenry dev working in the field of massive online gaming knows this happens every time with any mmo, event the pay to play ones! BUT you ppl seam to have the idea devs are the ones calling the shots, and making the money decisions, wich is very obviously not so. Its the higehr ups who will get a report from online dept saying " sh*tstorm is comming cause we wont be able to have a stable game in the first week or so" CEOs will look and say " so who cares? it will blow over quick, i`m not gonna authorise spending a million fro just a few days, to set up those extra 400-1000 servers" This is how it is ppl if the higher ups say they cant buy ad set up double the servers they cant. And the repsorts "we were not expecting this" are from marketing and is saving face, again not from the devs. "R* f*cked up they are sh*t now" Really? they made an ectremely well recived(from both critics and gamers) game and the Sp is very impressive considering the 7 yrs old tech, tech that wast even top nothc when it came out... But since the Online is not working properly in the first week its worst company ever.... really i though EA was that worse than Bp a company that caused demage to the enviroment that will last hundreds of years.... but i guess R* wins that title now..... "This is a disaster" I wont even dignify this with an explonation, you are terrible if you think this little inconvinience is a diaster and you are the definition of First world problem. "R* should get off their lazy asses and fix sh*t NOAWWWW" Again belive it or not most devs who poured YEARS of secret labour into a game like this, are concerned, most ppl who take part in a collaborative creative effort DO care about the reception fo their labour. They are working on it be patient and act less like an entiteled asshole, dont be Jimmy.... "They should stop swiming in their cash and buy servers" Already explained, but if you think all R* devs are now wwalking around with millions in their pockets your are delusional and sad.... yes high rpofile devs liek this gets nice paychecks(unless under EA) but they are not millionaires form a game, belive it or not a company dont split up the profit for the employees, upon a sucassefull game they get to keep their job, in this shrinking failing game market. Also setting up servers by outsorcing is a dangerous subject, if you want your data stolen or sold, or hell wiped by outside companies sure go ahead, otherwise setting up double the amount of servers is not as simple as walking into wallmart and taking one off the shelves and pluging it on the net.... And you complaning you think the ceo will give a single sh*t? the only vote and oppinion they care for is your vallet, did you buy the game? did you seell it for used soon after? that is the only vote you can do to change things, Devs care and listen but the money is not put under fan love alone. Its not accepted to have sh*t launches but its not something that will change soon, no matter the crying or defending the big money guy will NEVER invest 2 times us much for just a week, basic math suggest that costumer satisfaction of 1 week will never worth more than a years worth of fun they will have.
