Online Planes & Helicopters?

Hi

 

First time posting and im hoping there is a really easy answer. I've finally managed to get online (Woop!) so i thought i would head over to the main airport. Closed. no crashing through fences to gain access. I found a ramp to go in but there are no planes or shall i say no planes i can get in and fly.

 

I headed over to the desert airport to also find nothing to fly. Is this something that will unlock as i rank up?

 

I will be massively disappointed if this is a feature that is disabled online.

 

Any ideas?

There's a Jet in the military airbase, expect your backside handed to you though by the military. I know you can buy planes, however with all the issues at present I've not had chance to properly explore the map myself, I hope there are planes at the airport in some shape and form, however I've yet to see any player flying any.

I used a maverick to access the airport and stole a mammatus which i then flew to zancudo....then i lost my character....

Do you have anywhere to park your Planes & Helicopters?

Seems like planes/choppers only spawn when you reach a certain level. At first I wasn't seeing planes in the airport or military base but I seemed to reach a certain level and they began appearing. I think the level when jets appear is higher than when civilian aircraft will appear.

I haven't purchased anywhere yet but i would have thought the main airport would of had them. Firstly you cant access the airport and when you do find the ramp to get in there are huge yellow jumbos but none can be accessed.

 

Kembo what level are you? just so i can look out for them.

I was level 6 and the jet was in the military base

 

There's two choppers on the hospital roof and there's one at Trevor's airstrip there the only ones I have found so far

there's smaller planes for me in the main airport near to where franklin's hanger was, only way to get to them is to steal the maverick at the front of the airport though and they're really quite sh*t

The only planes I have found were the Titan and Lazer in Zancudo.

 

A maverick on the other hand is almost guaranteed to spawn on the airstrip in Sandy Shores, it spawns on the Helipad.

It must be something to do with your rank then as ive had a good search and found nothing im at level 3 so i still have some work to do yet :-(

Well I'm around level 16 now but I'm sure those vehicles were spawning by the time I'd reached Level 10.

 

One thing though, if someone of a higher level is nearby, it seems the vehicles will be triggered to spawn for them. So even if you're level 3, if someone of level 10 drives by you may see the chopper or whatever spawn in front of you.
