I can confirm after rebooting my console and testing out that everything works great. Charakter keeps saved , Money saved, Appartements saved. For those that cant get their Charakter back, the Problem is that you haven't saved it fluently.

But everyone starting a new Charakter, it won't be deleted !

The new patch made things even worse for me. Now I can't even get past the first mission cutscene. Always crashes halfway into it.

 

Try deleting the patch (it should be a GTA file that's 39mb, no more no less.) And trying again.

Characters are not gone forever. If you done make a new character to override the one you lost it's still there. I made 1 on the 2nd day that disappeared and he came back last night. Managed to play for hours on end last night and reset my console. My guy was back and all my stuff.

So, after completing the tutorial fully on a new character, I left the online mode, going back to single player. And from there exited and restarted my PS3. Signing back in, my new character is still there. I hope this helps somebody. Seems stable for now. But you never know.

 

Did the same thing, and my character is still there, hopefully this one will stay!

And how do you know that? Because it didn't happen to you?

 

 

because it's common. What can I doo for the fact, that no one of you is able to save it properly. Since yesterday nd the patch there were no Problems.

Welp, old character isn't there, but the cash is. Got a new character I'm levelling up, and I've got the money, and am close to getting a garage. so......whatever. I've got better starting stats/looks better on the new character anyway.

 

The new one is in a new slot, so hopefully the old one comes back soon.

It's common that maybe 1/3 of husbands in America will cheat on their wives, but doesn't mean everyone does it.

PS3 of course, it works like a charm. Played a few deathmatches and races - funny thing is I didn't lose a penny for dying in these! They fixed that? :D

 

I still cant get to the Cyprys Hill TDM or whatever it is, i always time out, but otherwise its working.

Could someone compile these issues and add them to the thread on top bugs and glitches that I am trying to get pinned?

I will add them all in the first post to make it easy for players and devs alike to see a complete list in one place. Note it as PS3 patch problems or something similar.
