So i heard that you can spend $10 for $500,000 in-game money is this true? And do you reckon it's worth it?

I mean so far 3-4 hours of gameplay and only a small tiny bit of grinding got me $63,000 kinda fun playing but starts getting thee old deja vue feeling. And Just $10 would get your a whopping $500,000? Dude that's like the best apartment + $100,000 to spare?

Seems worth it to me but on one payment you get the hole on GTA O unlocked with that kinda money "If this is even true"

Personally i don't have much against microtransaction at this cheap price & at just money level but no doubt dose online to me personally feel like rockstar keeps saying "Put many hours in you will get there! Or you could just spend like $10"

I would never give them my money. I personally believe that they make it so hard to earn money to tempt you to buy GTA$ (Hence losing up to 2000 dollars everytime you die, regardless if its in the bank or not). I think its absolutely pathetic and a dirty tactic.

Besides that I'd rather earn my money.

The problem is they'll eventually release more apartments that cost more. Then you'll be sad and they'll want you to buy another pack so you can buy the better house. And it just keeps going forever. As long as you don't fall into their trap, then go ahead. More power to you. But it's a dangerous game.

Money is super easy, and more importantly FUN to earn. I'd never pay real money for it. That's just silly.

I mean, maybe if you rarely get to play but want a nice house, cars, etc, sure... but if you're invested in the game, play the game, and don't invest real money.

Its very sad they went down this road and like what was said above a dirty tactic. There is no need to lose $2000 every time you die. Just a big ass scam

Im already getting over online its getting very repetitive and the fact that they make it hardish to get money and keep repeating sh*t over and over again to get small amounts of money just sucks.

I've made that much money in the two days online has been out.. Not worth it for me. Money is easy to make.

When can we do bigger bank heists?

According to rockstar it's one of the first content updates. But I don't know when those are coming, probably in a few weeks.

No, no it isn't

Having vast amounts of money in this game amounts for sh*t. If you want to spend 400,000 on an apartment, how is that 'winning'?

Give me examples about how having a lot of money helps you 'SIGNIFICANTLY' in this game?

Besides you do not need to buy a cashpack unless you're impatient and have to have that apartment or cars... You've still got to know what you're doing in the missions / deathmatches / races / survival etc to be able to rank up and unlock the better equipment.

Online is Pay to Win

Im just going to assume the people that are packing sh*t tons of money are farming. Or just playing on crew servers so other players don't shoot them all the time.

Doesn't bother me what people do to be honest . I'll be working that much soon, I won't have time to play. Maybe I will just want that house that I can't afford yet because I no longer have the time to grind for it lol I enjoy it either way .

I do the "vaulted out" or something like that, mission from Gerald, you unlock it at lvl 15 and it nets you 9k per go, it only takes 4-8 mins.

2hrs ish =250k

I can't see the point in farming the same mission either... Surely you'd get bored. I want to play all 500 missions rather than play the same one each time just because you can get x amount from it.

Farming is pretty lame imo.

Sweet I'm going to farm the sh*t out of it. R* won't get another cent from me. I paid $88 NZD for the game so I could have a great online game buuuuuutttt no f*cking micro transactions

Earning money isn't hard when people just exploit a mission to farm money. You're basically doing the same thing, you think you're earnin your money fairly? No... Your exploiting the game.

Do various robberies and other missions then come back to me in two days and say you have 300K. It won't happen, because R* intended for this to be a challenge, for the big apartments not to be able to be purchased for days, weeks after. Not in a few hours because you did the same mission over and over again.

People that are using the Gerald mission really can't say anything about people that purchase micro transactions.

Playing online with out farming that mission is just as repetitive. I've stolen so many drugs and repoed so many cars is getting old fast.

Depends what you mean by worth it?

In terms of time, yes its unarguably worth it, seeing as it would take way over 1 hour to reach $500k ingame, probably around 5 hours even with farming missions, so considering you likely get around $10 per hour from your work you may as well just do a bit of over time and save yourself some grief of doing the same mission over and over.

Saying that, what is there to do with the money aside from buying an apartment and doing up a car? The fun part is earning the money, but even that's not very fun at the moment, it gets very repetitive. I've said in another thread that the game is more of an alpha... it needs a lot of work. So until then, either buying the money of earning it through farming is a little pointless right now.
