What to spend the $ on?

Regardless if you think it's easy or not to accumulate cash in GTAO it won't be that long until you have the 400k apartment and 10 cars in your garage and plenty to spare.

So what else is there to spend big money on besides just putting it on BAWSAQ?

 

I wouldn't mind more consumables. What are your thoughts so far, and what would you like to see in the future in terms of consumables or other items?

Yeah, and that's a problem. But think of it this way, if GTAO is going to evolve and grow, what would you like to see in it?

I mean once you get up there it won't be hard to accumulate money. And one of the worst things in games, in my experience, is when you just keep accumulating wealth with nothing to spend it on and nothing to take from it.

What else is there to buy apart from houses, vehicles, weapons and clothes? All R* can do is keep bringing out "house packs" or "vehicle packs" but it won't make spending money any better, i'd like to see them come up with some unique things to buy

Well the Rhino is a few million dollars & the attack helicopter etc. Also the Stinger GT which I drove in a mission online last night is epic & I can't wait to have saved up enough to buy one.

Yup. They also hurt you if you smoke them for more than the few seconds tapping the emote buttons does. You can hold the sticks in to prolong it, and watch as you slowly die in the coolest way possible!

 

But seriously, it sucks. I know they're trying to be all anti-smoking, but holy sh*t. By this logic, people would die halfway into a real cigarette.

On 360 it's R3 and L3 together. I'd assume it's the same for PS3.

It's obviously in Rockstars best interest in wanting people to spend money and use there microtransaction packs.

 

Just providing houses and cars as incentives for spending money will wane really quickly. So obviously Rockstar needs to come with new and innovative things.

 

Personally, it would be really awesome if Rockstar was able to create this mob system of sorts. Where you can become the kingpin of Los Santos and really just climb up this rank of property ownership/ports etc..See who can "Run this town" so to speak.
