Passive mode needs fixing

I have seen numerous players in passive mode who can shoot at me also when I'm in passive mode I can be shot at and consequently die.

 

What's that all about..?

If you were in your car; passive mode WILL NOT WORK. If you are on foot and still get killed then idk lol. You can still get ran over tho.

Passive mode just marks you on the map for an obvious target. They still run you over as Dexter said but cannot shoot you unless your in a car

Even though they can run you over there impact can't kill you unless your ragdoll hits something hard or falls from a large distance. It is buggy and needs to be looked at imo

Just a quick tip - Safest place to be when you go afk is to be in a building in passive mode. Works wonders.

OP: The whole passive mode annoys me, it's pointless unless you hide in a building. You can still be run over and still can be shot in a car. So you really can't explore etc without douchebags giving you trouble unless you go into a private solo game.

 

At least with Red Dead in friendly free roam you couldn't be shot and killed but your horse could (which is fair enough) and you wouldn't die if someone trampled over you on a horse. And thats how it should work in GTA Online.

 

So it looks like hiding in buildings is the only way to do it, but then whats the point in going into passive mode and wasting $100, IIRC you can't draw a gun in any clothes store or Ammu-nation.

 

Passive mode is a completely defunct option Cheers R*.
