SERIOUSLY GUYS?

OK so i'm really not going to try to make a long rant (oops) but i'm a talker so

I haven't been able to get on since release so while waiting for a patch or whatever i stay on the forums; and all i see is endless amounts of complaining. I'm not talking about character deletion or anything like that, because that's fine. I'm talking about the stupid sh*t like, to little cars on the roads, character creation, it's like GTA4, targeting, apartment and car expenses, the view of some apartments, missions not good enough. etc..

Seeing all these posts made me weary of going on online anymore. I decided to try it one more time today and i got in and...

wow.

GTA:O is seriously REALLY fun

but who knew right? with all these posts about how bad it is.

I'm going to say this in the nicest way possible but..

You guys are a bunch of unsatisfied assholes.

Rockstar goes all out to try to make a good online experience for us and all we do is complain about bullsh*t.

I mean what did you expect? it's just been released its going to have problems like any other game. I'm not saying there hasn't been a lot of problems because there has, all i'm saying is we complain and beg for things we want and when we finally have those things we complain and beg for more stuff. Rockstar has been generous in the past and i think i can say we are quite a privileged bunch. Just give them time to sort and fix things and after that GTA should be fun for all of us.

I just ignore it. I mean I can't blame people for being upset. its fine that there are issues the first day but we are going on day 4 now and a lot of people still cannot log in. Not to mention the huge amount of people(me included) who have lost there characters to there wonderful cloud servers.

Not many complaining about the actual game, believe the vast majority would acknowledge that it is very fun, the complaining is about characters being 'deleted', purchases being 'deleted', and the inability to actually play online...

Only problem I have is the loss of characters....other than that its awesome. Much better than GTA4.

 

And for those that cant play, lucky them. I'd rather not play than play and have my progress count for nothing.

No i understand people are complaining about stuff like that. I mean i would to. It's just i see people on here complaining about very minuscule things in game that are just little bumps in a big open world online game.

I could have been a little more specific about what i was trying to say, sorry.

things could have just been done differently when it comes to online.

 

They could have kept the online part by letting you log in, created character but cant do anything else until october 1.

 

this would have given them an estimate as to how many people want to actually play online ... see what i did there ? by using this estimate, they could have bought more servers, ironing out 80% of the connection issues leaving them with just the glitches and bugs to deal with. im pretty sure with more cloud servers these errors and stuff could have been avoided.

 

 

ive got the ps3 version, tried about 3 characters then gave up as the game crashed at cypress flats. Last night console froze up while trying to log in but luckily it did not get damaged etc.

 

for now, im over losing my characters as they don't come back after a while. only 57% on sp so not to phased with MP at the moment.

 

would be fun to actually do something with my 2 man crew though

Some ppl are just unhappy period. Crybaby bitches. One guy started a thread complaining about auto aim and how it's not for "good players" come to find out later that asshole didnt even have the game

I had trouble getting started but now I'm havin a good time, been killed a few times but its not a big deal. Just doing missions and getting paid and investing my money in weapons for they are the tools I use to make more money. I did a robbery with a total stranger and they kept the car running while I held up the store, when we lost the cops I gave him half the loot and I havent seen that person since. There are good cooperative friendly people out there.
