Question for those who own cars

I just bought a car and a garage. How can I make it to where I can use my car during missions? I'm afraid to take it out of the garage and leave the lobby. I'm afraid it will disappear.

 

Anyone know how it works? Thanks.

When it is your personal car e.g. Has a tracker and insurance and when it is not impounded it will automatically spawn near you at the start of most missions.

As long as you have a tracker and insurance you don't need to worry about losing your car

Ok well I have both. Does it need to be in a garage? What if it's out of the garage and I start a mission?

itl be sent to the mission with you as stated... if you have a garage you can have the car brought right to you.. an npc will drive the car/bike to your location and drop it off (like how the taxi works)

 

and all you have to do is pay 50$ every day for the mechanic dropping off the cars doesnt cost anything beyond that.

 

also.. any car you buy is placed into a garage and automatically insured and has a tracker installed... if you have one vehicle out and then ask the mechanic to bring another one.. the other vehicle will automatically be taken back to your garage by the mechanic.

 

any stolen car will get the tracker but not insurance.

What ive done is before i start the mission, i take the car i want out of my garage and sit in the car while i launch the mission , then it appears during the missions.

Ok that's awesome. Let me clarify this though.

 

Your car does not need to be in a garage? What if it blows up on a mission? In order to use my car for a mission, do I need it out of the garage?

without a garage you can have 1 car.. if it is destroyed you can phone the insurance company for another car... garages allow you to have more than 1 car and the ability to have cars delivered to wherever you are instantly.

 

if the car blows up in a mission simply call the insurance company and pay a small fee (around 100-200$) and an exact replica will be placed at the insurance company (if you dont feel like walking and have a garage you can ask the mechanic to get it for you)

 

if your about to do a mission you could simply call the mechanic and pick a car and hell bring it right to you then hop in and there you go... they show up instantly nearby (like the taxi does)

if the garage is full and you try to add a new one to the garage or buy one.. it will bring up a menu asking you which one you would like to replace... then you select which one to get rid of and the new vehicle will take its spot.

100-200 to regain a car? Lol I have to pay ~10k each time my car blows up (and every jackass that blows my car up has to pay it for me )

ive only had to pay 100-200... but i havent had super cars with tons of mods.. and im only rank 10... so..

 

in fact i mostly ride motorcycles so maybe thats why.

 

i was thinking about buying the convertible for like 140k or something like that...

 

but im too broke to afford that right now lol.

 

i havent been able to do any missions.. and ive only managed to get online once... all i can do is run around robbing stores and selling vehicles.

I've got a 6 car garage and I just call a suitable car out if I need one out of 4 cars im only missing one, but it also refunded the money I spent insuring it.
