Do you lose guns when you die?

I was just wondering If i buy a new gun will i lose it when I die or just the ammo?

No, you keep your weapons.

I played the beta mostly so someone can give you a confirmation on this, but you shouldnt lose any weapons you purchased after unlocking them.

 

I have noticed though, that if you pick up a weapon that you havent unlocked, Like an M4, you wont keep it. Sometimes it will get rid of it when you die, start a mission, or whatever. But you will for sure lose it when you restart GTAO or use all your ammo
