GTA Online has a terrible community so far

Honestly if somebody messages me telling me to stop killing them without being a little biotch then I will stop. But then again I don't only kill people. I like driving around and doing missions with people

I just hate it when I put my car on 'Everybody' so I can complete a mission with some randoms, then after that when we return to Free Roam, I hop into my car just to be killed. He stole my car and put it on top of a mountain that I had to climb. Really unnecessary. In RDR it wouldn't be a big deal since I could just call my horse again, they really need to fix Passive mode, or atleast add a friendly mode.

I could play only 30 minutes of online but peoples were nice with me. I went into a clothes store and saw 2 players inside so I went inside trying to look normal. They didn't shoot me. They just walked out to a car when they are done.

 

Red dead redemption had a good community. I didn't need a micro at all. We just understood eachothers. There was the eventual dbag sometimes but it was alright.

 

I don't like to be bad in multiplayer. It's just a game and everyone should have fun. I don't understand why would anyone try to ruin someone else's fun. Humanity. I don't mind about npc but players are real peoples. It's immoral to do ruin others' fun for your fun. Since when being bad is fun? Did I missed that moment where humans got changed into trolls?

Solo playing isnt recommended until you have the right equipment which comes in close to level 20 and above, I know that the simeon jobs are alot easier than Gerald since Gerald is more about open conflict than stealing cars. I probably wont start soloing till I have a sniper rifle to avoid as much conflict as possible, sticky bombs would also be a big help.

 

I'd actually argue the opposite. It's easier in the opening levels to be alone. After level 20, you're asked to do things like fly a plane and simultaneously clear a runway before you land it. Impossible to do (with the plane they give you) from the air alone. It's much easier for me to clear an alley of bad guys from cover alone at an early level.

It's been a mixed experience but I expected it. If you thought their weren't going to be people, without honor and purpose, then I'm afraid your a bit naive. The best I can offer is play with firends and crew members, as that is where the most fun is at.

I play on invite only and let the savages kill each other. I also do missions with friends only. I didn't buy the game to play with a bunch of 12 year olds. sh*t that's why I stopped playing cod after MW2 and the JTAG 360.

 

Much easier to do missions with people that you are friends with IRL. I suggest making a few of those and playing the game with them.

I got killed by some guy once, so I did my revenge killed him multiple times after. Eventually I was up to killing him 7 times. He turned on his mic and was like "sorry man, let's work together blah blah blah" then we did for the rest of the night now he's on my friend list. Great times

I'm starting to get used to Online and finding it pretty easy to avoid the squeakers living out some pseudo-fantasy. Most of them are bad at the game anyway.

I've not even managed a single mission with anyone so far which is disappointing considering i thought that was the whole point of the game.

Getting a little fed up with exciting missions or joning a server and having a bounty put on straight away. Especially annoying as servers don't seem to match with friends or crew unless the same level so keeps putting me in with randoms.

I've got some mixed experiences online as well. I have been shot by a lot of randoms, but also helped by some randoms.

The best example was when i was robbing a store and some dude was outside waiting in a fast car. I got in his car and together we lost

the cops. I shared half my income from that robbery and we played some more together. That is imo the way this game will be fun. There will always be griefers in any game. I just try to avoid them and find sessions where people are actually wanting to play the game

I don't mind being killed once, or killing someone once (I couldn't help it, the guy had a $5k bounty on his head!), but it's when people do it over and over and you ask for a truce and they just keep killing you. I ran out of ammo defending myself, and lost 10k, because Ahmed wouldn't leave me alone. :|

GTA IV had a good online community in my opinion. I've met ppl on multiplayer 1+ years ago and we still hang and have even played on GTA V together.

 

GTA is about stealing & killing. Don't be a punk! Learn how to defend yourself. You'll be alright.

The griefing and killing Isn't bad yet. Just wait till more people unlock the sniper rifle, you won't be able to move from spawn much less drive around.

 

Oh and just an idea. Maybe with Job Points they could make it to where it saves it and it could put people with a certain amount of them in the same server. That way it would be putting people who are actually doing missions together. I dunno just a thought.
