Races are decided by the carnage at the start

If you survive the initial carnage of people pitting eachother, you win. The rest of the track ahead is never difficult enough to slow anyone down.

 

I'd like a race mode that compares your time against other player's ghosts.

My advice, if you start in the pack, ease of and watch the carnage, then fly under the first rolling car you see while flipping them off ;-)

They really should implement some kind of 5 sec penalty for ramming or deliberately taking someone off the road. I cant count how many times im chasing the 1st and the dumbasses behind me took me out on purpose with themselve along with it...whats the f*cking point?

There's a rally mode. I haven't tried it yet, but in actual rally you don't have to worry about racing in packs, for the most part, so maybe it's a race against ghosts of your enemies? I don't know.
