Does anyone know what like/dislike is after each match, are you just suppose to choose if you liked the game or not?

I'm assuming it's a way for R* to weed out undesirable missions and gametypes.

This is what it is :)

Not sure if it means you like the mission you just did or not, or just did or didn't like that particular session of it. I think it's the latter though.

I always just pick like so we can go to the next game mode faster. However, there's always one jerk that never votes and makes it take forever.

Sorry if I bumped a thread that was too old but I figured I would since I did a search for my question and found the exact thing I was wondering.

But I want more info now that it's been all these years since ppl replied.

I've always liked or disliked jobs - especially adversary mode jobs - based solely on if I enjoyed the match itself and whether or not I enjoyed how fair the match was... If I ended up on a team with 2 other ppl while the enemy team was 6 deep or whatever, I hit the thumbs down. But I don't wanna dislike the job if it simply influences the job rating percentage we see. Can anyone confirm if thats really how it works???

Yes, your thumbs up 👍 or down 👎 influences the job rating.
I also believe that "no vote" means a negative rating but I could be wrong on that.

Thank you! I guess I always thought it was simply so us players in the match could see how each other felt about the match, considering I'm able to vote every single time I play the same one.

It also depends on what kind of job you're doing. For example, if you fail a contact mission, that's an automatic dislike. You can't like Survivals, but if you(and all other people in that session) die in the same wave before the end, that's also a dislike for the job.
