Then it's not really "free" is it. If they don't want people killing each other then just disable all guns until you go on a job. It's like being a kid in a candy store and not being able to eat anything. I've got a feeling that once everyone's got a garage full of shiny cars, couple of apartments and everything else you can buy, they'll get tired of doing endless missions killing endless NPCs and will go back to killing other players anyway, and then there'll be a lot more people with dunce hats on.

 

In the interests of fairness, if somebody reports a bad sport and they don't deserve it, the reporter should receive a big pink hat with "SNITCH" on it.

If you grief with one character you grief with all. And no i am not joking. Every character you have is consider a bad sport. Because other wise you can. Just bypass the punishment and it isn't a punishment lol. So yeah gl don't gief dick thanks.

 

On topic. Also if ya haven't found out by now. You can't play with friends in less they are bad sports also. So there another punishment for ya :3. It's something to take into consideration.

This is great. Only way to make it better would be to have it apply to every character on the account so people can't have a dedicated asshat character.

That is how it is tho. My friend tried to create a new character to bypass it. But it didn't work he had a dunce cap on him also. So yeah you can't have a dunce dedicatied character. in less they are all dunces. Simple minded creator = simple minded characters .

But you can kill other players without getting a bad sport rating.. you can kill every player on the session, with no penalty. why does everyone keep saying that a bad sport rating is in conjunction with killing people? it only occurs when you damage their property or ruin a mission (Hence the need for a fix when you get kicked from a mission, and get warned about being a bad sport).

 

The game is about robberies, murders, and gangs... all of these things can be done without ever getting a bad sport rating. But if you are going around blowing up cars that people have just payed for, and don't want that happening to them, then you get put in a place where your opponents will happily do the same to you. If you want all to go mental and destroy everything, then the bad sport servers are the ones for you.

 

To me this idea makes quite alot of sense. Apart from when i get a warning about being about being a bad sport, when i was kicked. That needs fixing, asap.

Getting punished for doing something like that in a game like grand theft auto is like getting punished for scoring a goal in fifa. Fair enough if they want to punish people who leave early, team kill in team based missions, etc but punishing people for killing others in free mode is stupid as f*ck

you dont really get punished, you just get paired with other asshat griefers so you can run around and kill each other to your hearts content and the normal people can play the game normally. In real life there are consequences to your actions. In GTA V, If you behave like a DUNCE you will be labelled a DUNCE, no one made you behave that way but YOU.

 

Yes, R* need to fine tune it so that retaliation does not count towards your behave meter but that will no doubt come.

 

For the babies who are crying about this, it's simple; you have two slots to start with. Start one good guy and one DUNCE, then you have the best of both worlds.

This is in need of desperate revision. Fair enough if you're just a regular player, but when someone puts a bounty on your head it should be disabled for that specific person IMO. It makes hunting down bounties in a fighter jet almost impossible if they're in their personal vehicles; I always end up destroying their car, collecting the bounty and consequently getting the bad sport warning from the overpowered jet bullets...
