Just so everyone knows, Having a bounty on your head and killing people who come to hunt you down WILL GET YOU A BAD SPORT. Its funy because I got my bonus for being a good sport then within 10-20 minutes I was a bad sport. Great game R*.

Imma be mad as hell if i ever wind up being labeled a bad sport...cuz i don't provoke anything but if someone provokes me, haha, i take it to a whole other level.

 

Like this dude last night killed me when I'm driving buy then takes my car, so i proceed to kill him about 20 times in a row lol

 

Also played a game of golf and this other guy was purposely missing horribly and wasting my time, so afterwards i followed him and killed him like 5 times.

WTF is going on here, particular action causes reaction. I'm fine with this.

 

However, I've just played for 4hrs in free-roam and guess how many times I managed to walk/drive past someone without been forced into a gunfight.......not once. I lost count of how many times I was killed/killed somebody (btw I did not receive any kind of warning for this). I'm not whining just telling it how it was for me, I fully accept and expect this sort of behaviour as you can't legislate for others.

 

We should all concentrate on getting R* to clarify what the criteria is to merit a ban.

 

Must add though that I think 48hrs is a bit harsh, maybe R* need to consider something else as punishment - how about a monetary fine or rank demotion.

if you have insurance you have to pay a deductible. (Adder is a 12k Deductible.) So ontop of paying money for the broken car, you will get a bad sport.

Even though passive doesn't save you from being flattened by a car (which I've had numerous encounters where I'm walking in passive and have vehicles aimed right at me) - I just don't mess with people in passive. ITS A SIMPLE AS THAT. It's how you make a public note saying "I want to explore, or group for jobs, or level up my driving skill" and still be able to meet other gamers or work with new crews.

 

Asshats that repeatedly target me in passive mode on the sidewalks in their SUV's should be dealt with. I shouldn't be forced to play in a private game just because something designed to protect you doesn't work as it should.

 

Play smart, don't camp, don't spawn kill, leave your passives alone, and blow up other sh*t - the map is filled with things to do. Geez it ain't rocket science it just good gaming.

That hat is f*cking priceless. I wish they'd offer an alternate version just for sh*ts and giggles but I guess that may confuse someone at quick glance.

 

I've thankfully only had one encounter with a "bad sport in the making" though and it ended hilariously. After trying to chase me all around the map from a motorbike I finally got fed up and did a hard brake, he hit the back of my car and went hurtling into oncoming traffic, allowing me to slowly pull up and car-bag him.

I'm only ranked 20 and my map is almost packed with missions and activities to do and with each rank I get more missions and perks (ammo drops, heli support, survival, bounties, gang fights, THE LIST GOES ON). I find that most people who asshat around killing other players "for fun" are the broke nubs who didnt get the memo about what GTA 5 Online is all about... R* is trying to get us to work together as criminals and make some bread along the way.. If you want to kill and act like this is the wild west then you have a room (and a hat) where other people will gladly waste $ on medical bills and ammo with you, or you can do the MANY different pvp game types, your choice.. When I do a job on the street and a guy helps I split the $ with him and send a thank you text message inviting them to my apartment for some shots and a smoke. We both win. Cant buy a house when youre constantly killing potential allies now can you?

Completely agree. It's meant to be a sandbox game yet there are limits to what you can do. On SP when I'm bored I go around blowing things up, but online where it is even more enjoyable, you can't do it without punishment. Free roam my arse!
