Just lost nearly 20k from this little mission

The goal is simple. 2 teams. Steal the evidence and deliver it to win. Well it turns out no one ever wants to actually deliver the evidence to win the game so we keep going around and chasing people. All my money was in the bank, about 40k worth. It's been almost 30 mins so far and still no one wants to win. I can't tell you how many times I died from players and the cops (almost all the time was from cops). The mission is still not even over and I lost $20k money!

 

I understand money drops when you die but it shouldn't drop when its in the bank! The game still didn't finish after 45 mins so I just left.

I played that same mission and lost 8k, it's ridiculous. R* is doing this on purpose. It's all for the cash cards.
