Petition to remove auto-aim from online play

About the same time it will have any effect whatsoever. never, lol! Rockstar even read this crap forum trollfest? I wouldnt if i was them, make your petition on their forums if you want it even looked at, haha!

....or you could just play with other free-aim only players?

 

I've heard people say that there is a system in place that allows you to play with people who have the same SP aim settings as you do - so that if you have free-aim set in SP, you'll only be paired with people who have the same.

 

If this isn't the case, i'd be all for this to happen, as opposed to totally removing assisted aim. I agree that it really has no place in a competitive PvP environment, but no reason why it shouldn't be allowed in PvE.

This. No need to have it removed, when there's free-aim lobbies and lobbies for auto-aimers. The game also informs you when a lobby uses a different targeting mode than the one you have set, and prompts you to change it and join, or not change it and find another lobby.

Free aim on console controllers is absolute absurdity - no game will ever finish and the settings on the controller including the controller itself make it absolutely difficult to use in terms of fine aiming.

 

Word of advice; buy PC version, go on GTAO, use a mouse and there you have it - free fine aiming with the proper tools.

 

Hence why I never played COD or BF on stupid consoles; PC is the place to be.
