What's the fastest muscle car?

I made the Challenger (Gauntlet) my default, and raced a friend in a Mustang (Dominator) and the Mustang won. The Ruiner doesn't seem that quick, how about the rest?

Not counting things like the Banshee? Dominator (Mustang) appears to be fastest Muscle car I think, from playing around with them.

A fully tuned Sabre Turbo is a blast to drive. I think stats wise the Dominator is supposed to be fast, and it's also one of my favorite cars, but the Sabre is an animal.

As in real life i count the corvette(coquette in game?) as a muscle car. Banshee should technically be muscle too if its modeled after a viper, although it technically doesnt say so in game, if you are going by game classification i say the sabre and dominator are your best bet.

Yeah, it was my starting car for the online.

 

Pick up a more low key car in it's type of class, so like an Imponte, Declasse, or the El Camino looking car/truck, if you don't already have a Dominator ('Stang) or Gauntlet (Camaro). Then just cruise around the more industrial areas of the map, like the Los Santos Customs that's hidden away under the overpass shaped like a dong, will spawn eventually if you go in and out of the area.

I have a challenger too but I caught up to and passed a guy in a sabre on the highway. Maybe his car was f*cked up though?

An unmodified Sabre cannot compete with the modern muscle cars.
