UK/european players should play in the morning

if you can. That time the bulk of the yanks are tucked up in bed, so less strain on the servers apart from the hardcore ones who play at all hours. I was playing this morning and all i could hear was british accents and a pair of aussies.

Whatever...i played at 12pm and it was full of turkish / arabian players all spamming the mics, rarely have i heard english/aussie players, mostly all middle eastern twats giving me headache.

I got my first decent playing experience this morning until 16:00 or so, not able to connect since then.

 

Whatever...i played at 12pm and it was full of turkish / arabian players all spamming the mics, rarely have i heard english/aussie players, mostly all middle eastern chaps giving me headache.

Well not really because theres no indication in the game to tell you who is currently chatting, not in my game anyway, unlike 4 where it would show you in the top corner...

I find it works better for me at night about 12ish during the morning i lose connection quite a lot im based in london

Yeah I was playing while the US was asleep.

Ran perfectly, and I mean perfectly for hours.

 

As for hearing people I've head Australians talking, some middle eastern family, and some Austrailian with his kinect on and a damn bird. For the most part though, silence.

 

Edit: oh, and for the love of god, do not leave your kinect running while playing people, we can hear everything in your lounge, and if you fart, it's on mofo.

Well not really because theres no indication in the game to tell you who is currently chatting, not in my game anyway, unlike 4 where it would show you in the top corner...

 

If you hold down on the D-pad to bring up the character selection thing, then let go, it displays a list of users in the top left for a few seconds and lets you see who is talking.

 

I haven't noticed much of a difference getting online at different times as yet.

I turned it on after I got home from work (6pm) and got on straight away. Not had a single issue.

They have servers on various locations... It's not like they route you from Europe to USA and later back to Europe. Would by default give at least 150-200 ping to every european and make the game pretty much unplayable.

Not really. In Europe for example they probably have server halls in London and/or Edinburgh, Frankfurt, Oslo/Stockholm/Copenhagen (maybe all of these or just 1-2) and possible one more south.

Now I don't know the server structure they having but my guess is that they have a ping filter and try to match you against any server suitable for you. Even if you live in UK it doesn't necessary mean you get to play on a server in UK if you have like let's say 30 ping to one in Scandinavia and the UK ones are under more load.

 

It might also just go for servers with least amount of work load under let's say 50 ping which would probably mean you get matched up on any server in Europe. With other words, it priority work load and don't consider ping much at all.

i had the same problem.hold select and bring up the menu you can turn off the chat completly there.best thing i ever did
