I deleted my saved character that was stuck trying to start the first race and deleted/re-installed the title update and now everything works flawlessly. Level 5 and rising!

 

I had tried that approach several times yesterday and last night with no results so maybe some things are getting fixed. If you can't play yet id give that a shot now.

It's not that most of us can't play the game it's that rockstar have deleted all of our characters

Mine got deleted as well, but im already back up to the rank i was (and some..) + everything WORKS SMOOTHLY now..

 

 

 

Even trade off for me.

I've had probably 10 characters so far and none could even start the first race until I did what I described above. All of mine were deleted by myself so idk, I guess everyone has their own issues.

Yeah it worked smoothy all day for me too... But when I just shut down for an hour I lost all my progress again.. So yeah.. untill R* confirms i'll never see my character again I'm not gonna start over...

My character got deleted yesterday. Created a new one today. I tried to the 1st race mission but keeps freezing or saying something like no other players avalible. This is for PS3. Someone PLEASE help me! I can never get past the 1st race. #pissed off :devil::/:v::v::v::cry::cry::cry::barf::barf::barf:
