His avatar no longer appears in my character wheel when choosing a character on SP, but if i launch online either through the start menu or through the loading screen at the start of the game, i spawn as my character online. I think a lot of people are seeing the empty space where their avatar should be and assume it's been lost/deleted. Try launching online. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I didn't even go in there, i just went down to "Play GTA Online" and it launched and my character was still there. Just try that, if you haven't already.
